Though there were many great wrestling gimmicks for the year, in 2004 Matt
Striker dominated the indy's performing a large percentage of them single handedly. Fans praised the newest and perhaps most outrageous character Muscles Marinara in which Striker engaging in a face off with a ball of pizza dough including chops, kicks and even a people's elbow. The Many Faces of Matt Striker included the classic Ultimate Striker, Macho King Matt Striker, and Strikerman which saw him smoking a cigarette drinking a beer and using a singapore cane. He also performed tributes to Paul E, the Bushwackers, Sabu, Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Road Warriors and more. With the popularity of these entertaining gimmicks, and the talent behind them, we honor the man behind the mask and award the best gimmick to the many faces of Matt Striker.
