Also on the card:
Defiant Pro Wrestling will be holding it's next TV Taping event on Sunday afternoon, September 2nd 2007. This event will showcase the start of a sixteen man tournament to crown the first DPW TV Champion! That champion will also always defend the title live over the internet!
This massive tournament is set to be held over the next three events. It will begin on 9/02/07. Any remaining first round, and all second round matches will be held as part of the 9/09/07 event (tentativly a DDW event). The last round as well as the match to crown the champion will be held on 9/22/07 at BROKEN DREAMS.
The semi final and final round, as well as EVERY TV Title defence will be broadcast live over the internet right here on defiantprowrestling.com. It will not matter what event it may be, that championship will be streamed live every time, barring any technical issues from the server.
Unless scheduling conflicts arise, here are the majority of the performers who will comprise the tournament.

I'd still like to know when I can see some TV for once... Is it just not ready or is it going to be like WSX where you tape a billion years earlier and then air it?
im predicting that mikaze or oddity wins. |

In response to the "When is the TV going to be put up" question...
When we first started them, the intent was to put up a show as quickly as possible. A big issue was the actual footage at the time. Some of the earlier tapings were a bit sketchy as far as camera work, audio issues, etc.
Just as everything was getting on track, we were plauged with numerous computer issues.
As all this was going on, many storylines changed, finished up, or had to be rethought. That being said, much that was done in that time frame would no longer make sense episodically.
It is our hope that with the advent of the TV Title matches being streamed live online (which will begin at Broken Dreams 9/22), that we are in some small way, making up for taking so long.
Now that many issues have been resolved we are looking forward to getting a regular show online shortly. We are also, at some point, toying with the idea of broadcasting the tapings live..That requires a few additional pieces of equipment here to do it the way we'd like to present it. Time will tell that tale...

EVERY show isnt a cant miss show. Enjoy the ones you can go to, and leave it at that. People tell me to try that, and due to some issues, they will be cut back. But, Im gonna try and enjoy myself at the ones I can attend..
the PWS show in NJ is the only one I really wish I could attend. Got it out of my system  |

Hey everyone...
I feel the need to do somewhat of a test for the TV taping tommorow. I'd like to see just how many hammer members might actually come to the show. So I thought I'd give a small incentive..
