You might want to someday learn not to announce people until you actually have them booked.. Asking someone to show up doesn't really count.

Ok, heres what I got. not a ton of detail. on what was personally an "interesting" day/early eve, to put it mildly. Rolling Eyes Forgive the lack of detail on finishers, as I wasnt able to write much, and can't remember too well.ha

Attendance: 50 or so
Refs: Steve, Spencer, and Holyoke Joe
RA: Yours truly.

The pre show battle royal was won be Jason Snyper. I only saw parts of it thru the curtain, far as eliminations go. Others in the battle royal were Andy Sweet, BMT, Stiff Biff, Mr Williams. Eddie Latham, and the Red Crazy Ninja guy or something..hehe.

Graveyard w the Ghost segment featured POV commissioner Lenn Oddity. Lenn addressed the Nocturne and Jose situation, and mainly issues surrounding the Ct Elite title. IT was decided there would be a four way elimination w Oddity, Brian Anthony, Malice, and Kurt Adonis for the vacated title ..

Joey Bricco defeated DC Hannon in a 2/3 falls match. Joey won the last two falls, for the victory.

Andy Sweet defeated BMT. Post match, Nocturne came out, and layed out both Sweet and BMT, and whined bout Jose Perez not going to show again. blah blah.

The Dredded Gunns opponents. Pierre Vachon and Jim Tanner didnt make it, so the Gunns cut a promo about no opponents. Rick Star came out, and said they would have a 2-3 falls rematch w the Vandalz in October.

Chris Battle won a very solid match over Lukas Sharp by DQ, when the ref caught Sharp using a chair given to him by Rick Star. Sharp is a member now of the "IT " Factor.

Tookie Tucker, w the crowd, behind him all the way. esp Brian..honk honk..hehe. Defeated the Exotic Kristian Frost w fitness Guru Dick Semens in his corner. Another good one.

Malice vs Oddity vs Anthony (w Rick Star) vs Kurt Adonis (w Dick Semens }for the Ct Elite Title. First eliminated was Adonis, Next, Brian Anthony was counted out, as Joey Bricco came out and brawled w him. Then after a few more minutes, Oddity and Malice seemed to be doublepinned, but Malice got his shoulder up, and Holyoke Joe counted the New CT Elite Champ MALICE. Lukas Sharp then ran out, and laid out Malice, and Rick Star stole the belt again.

Nocturne was introduced and he said..we knew Perez wasnt coming. Suddenly, and SUV raced to the door of the garage, and Jose appeared. In a hard hitting match, Noc ended up getting the pin on Jose.

Next show and date, to be announced soon. check out myspace.com/pointofviewwrestling and the hammer for info.

Fans again, kinda quiet, but seemed to mainly enjoy the show.

Nice seeing Rissa. Barry and Miss Rachel there, Shane and Mr Wrestlejam, amongst others. Also, esp Brian and Jim..Post show was a lot of fun, talking w everyone, including a long talk w Noc, Tookie, Jim, Lukas, Chris Battle, Mr. Whitman, Mr Semens and others about various facets of the business and other things. Very informative talk about a lot of things. good stuff. Plus, Thanks to Tookie for the chance to talk to one of my idols, MR FUJI. That was cool. albeit only for half a minute..was really cool.

Also. Thanks again to Rick for giving me the chance to have a good time, and I hope to be there if not in Oct, in November, or whenver the next show is.

Also, Thanks to the kind man who helped after My tire blew out the steel belts. I had it basically changed, but balky lug nuts..this guy pulled off to the parking lot I was at, and gave me a hand. Really great to see respectful people, willing to help others today. I dont know his name, but a big Thanks...

Yes he was coherent. Memories go back 30 yrs of Master Fuji.

And Thx enforcer. the Fuji Managing days w the top hat, etc were classic too. Especially his days w the Magnificent Muraco, and "Fuji Vice". Now, THAT was an Instant Classic. Laughing

Sorry, my bad. But still, must have been really cool. My early memories of watching wrestling are of him and Professor Tanka and the white powder they used to throw in people's eyes....or was that plaster falling from the cieling tiles?! Wink Crying or Very sad

Neither, it wasnt plaster, thats for sure. And the "powder" was Salt. They threw it in the corner for a "ritual" pre match, and then sometimes in their opponents face/eyes during matches.

You are correct. Your memory is better than mine. Now I remember Fuji would throw it in the corners of the ring and bow to each corner. He was one of the greats and then one of the sneakiest managers along with the likes of the Grand Wizard and Freddie Blazzie.

I dont see the pictures. I think its perhaps since Im not a myspace member or w/e..

Anyways. for the next show, someone should step up and do pictures, to be put up on the hammer, as we see for other promotions. It would really help POVW out a lot IMO.

Sadly, or maybe happily, for those who dont like me..I may not be there in October. due to crowded committment deal, depending on when it is. But, I'll do the best I can.
