These are according to my memory, which ain’t the best source at times.

Also some of the wrestlers I am not familiar with and did not catch their names. Hopefully an official results listing will be available online somewhere. EDIT: Thanks to CJ Scott for filling me in on the names I did not know.

The Bennington Armory is a nice old armory style venue. Crowd about 60 plus strong. Ring Announcer: Alexandra Heiress.

Bombshell Bert Williams beat the Good Lord Willing.

Dark Knight Mr. White pinned Loverboy Ricky Williams in a 3-way match that also included Timmy Aiight.

Ron Falco defeated CJ Scott.

Max Burton beat Scott Scarsdale (confirmed).

Those 80's Guys beat the Killer Steves

Drake Evans beat Big Vigo (with Yvonna) by disqualification after Vigo struck the official.

Big Cat from Ohio beat Josh Jordan.

JP Black beat Jihad (with his valet).

Big Cat won a Battle Royal to be crowned the first ever Conquest Pro Wrestling champion. Included in the battle royal were most of the wrestlers from tonight’s show along with a few others.

Good show, especially for their first time out. They started exactly at 7:30. The DJ may have missed his cue a few times but nothing major. Really, I am grasping at straws here because I ain’t used to new start-up companies running so efficiently. They had two raffles: a 50/50 raffle and a raffle where several of their sponsors gave out stuff including Duncan Donut gift cards, Mobil Gas gift cards and a 75 dollar certificate towards a local tattoo parlor.

Does anyone know anything about this guy Big Cat? Ain’t an easy name for Googling. I have never seen him before and he was announced as being from Ohio. (Cleveland?) He’s a big guy and I hope a match with him against Big Vigo is in CPW’s future.

I have pictures that should be ready tonight.

Well, after doing some more searching, I found his myspace page where he mentions being CPW Champ. Big Cat's actually been a regular in NWA Upstate and the Rochester scene in general for quite a few years. Here's his myspace:

Just for the record, my opponent was Ron Falco. And Big Cat is easier to find if you look him up at the Notorious BCL And his opponent was named Josh Jordan.

yeah Big Cat aka Notorious BCL aka Big Cat Lemmer has been a Rochester mainstay for about 8 years now. Also worked a little bit with WOHW and I believe does compete in Ohio as well

Referee for NWA Upstate and competes regularly for NWA Empire. He's also run a few shows in the region south of Rochester.

He just turned heel in NWA Upstate against Jimmy Olsen. I'm predicting a monster heel run there, ala Vader circa 1993.

He did? When it comes to remembering results, I suck.

They say when you get old that memory is the second thing to go. I forget what the first thing is.

What the hell? Of course it looks nothing like Lombardi. Sorry to flame here but based on that picture alone, it looks some sort of anime or toy convention... the guy looks like an overgrown GI Joe with a poorly cut out made-in-china turban, then someone wrapped in a black garb like some elderly witch you'd see in Legend of Zelda, and a teenage goth girl in the background.

Though I will say Those 80's Guys sounds like a good gimmick to me! What music do they come out to???

There's the ringside pictures from the show. I was very happy with the way the night turned out, well worth the hour and a half trip. I've not seen Jihad in a while, and he and JP Black had a great match together that the crowd was into. Burt Williams and Good Lord Willing got the night off to a good start, and got the crowd into it. The Steves and the 80's guys are always a great match, and I was also very happy with the way Vigo wrestled Drake Evans. Vigo basically looked like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and then tossed it out the window. The line of the night had to be his manager pleading with him from ringside "Vigo! Be good."

I also wrestle quite a bit in Canada and other states.
And to be honest,it doesn't matter. My focus this Saturday is to cause as much havock and pain on my opponent and to make life even more miserable than it already is,for those Bennington BUTTHEADS.

A few comments...

1) It's a "smart" sight. I wouldn't bother "working your gimmick" here.
I think it turns people off. Kaybfaybe is great on shows and even in normal outlets...but it comes off bad here in my opinion.

2) Didn't Falco sing "Rock Me Amadeus"? I think you are required by law to come out to the ring using that song.

Friendly advice from a rapidly burning out old wrestler,

Mav

Kind of ironic considering the average IQ that posts here.

Also, I have no problem with NWA Upstate alumni Ron Falco talking in kayfabe on here and would like to personally welcome him to tBH.

Conquest is running their second show in Bennington this Saturday. They don't do much Internet advertising.
