Not stupid at all. When people read genuine enthusiasm by fans, I think they are likely to try a show. When posts are repetitive overhyped shilling by the same 4-5 posters, its a warning signal that perhaps things are not what they seem, and causes people to stay away. As has been said before, when PGW management comes on here, it is usually very professional and well done posts. The shills are what pisses people off.

If your not going to buy a ticket or a DVD then I can see why the company wouldn't want to give you the information. I mean the bottom line is the people spending money on their product, so if you don't buy a ticket or DVD then I guess you don't find out who runs it, until someone on this board actually does buy a ticket or DVD and posts the info here.

And the other 4-5 posters that are on this board, have probably already made up their mind on whether to go or not, as most of the people at these shows are not going to come from this message board, so I hardly see that as an issue. Also I have seen NEW get just as much hype if not more. It's simple, people don't want to read it they don't have to. It amazes me that people bitch about all the hype on here, yet they keep on reading those same threads.

As far as I know, there's only one promoter who identifies himself (identifies his real name) and thus has the authority to post as the official representative of his organization. So to call out anyone else or any joker who maybe sorta "works" with a particular group is just speculation.

I agree with enforcer that PGW gets over hyped on this board. They are good but certainly not great. They are not any better or worse than any other local promotion in this area. I think a lot of the over hyping comes from PGW workers that post on here under secret identities.

How is posting show info and pulling it within 24 hours gonna help draw more people to a show? Better question how is doing that gonna get back at people who don't go to the shows anyway? It's no diferent than a kid going to school and getting picked on so he gets home schooled. I enjoyed the BTW show I went to last time and I am looking forward to the next show in June however this just seems stupid to me. People crapped on my shows too but it doesn't bother me too much cause that's the wrestling business. Imagine if WWE or TNA gave up posting info due to the nasty comments they deal with. In this business there are all kinds of fans and if you can't except some of them then you are in the wrong business.
