Having Hound Dog talk to backyarders and give them tips doesn't make then a wrestler.. Hell, does that mean someone like GrayGhost (GG just using you as an example don't take bad) can go to a seminar that Slamtech or someone puts on and that makes him a wrestler ? No, it doesn't. ok. Rumors all i said was Hound Dog helped out and gave tips to certain people i didn't say talking to them made them wrestlers. He was just telling them what to do and not to do. Mkrp999 Wcwa got rid of backyarders like i said before we cancelled one show the other time the venue cancelled on us.

Well. I don't know why its cancelled. It could be venue issues. wrestlers having doublebooked, or the old standby, MONEY. Its a hard thing, but as anyone of the veteran promoters, like Bob and Mav will tell you, it takes money to put on a show. Sponsors are cool if you get them, but often for a small sh ow, out of pocket is the way it's done. I don't envy the promoters having those worries. You should probably sit down, and do a show budget before, lowball attendance estimates, figure talent costs, venue costs, etc. see if its even feasbile to run.

Bigger shows are more fortunate at times, in that they can get sponsors to help with costs. Of course, getting sponsors is probably very difficult as well.

Some advice to WCWA.. DONT BOTHER PUTTING ON A SHOW IF YOU ARE NOT 100% CERTAIN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY DO IT.

They are just going about it the wrong way. I think they are trying to run a small show w sponsors. The problem there is, the sponsors will say, "how many fans do u get", will I get benefit from my ads, etc". Until they establish themselves, they should have to pay outta pocket. It may lose a little money for a time, but once they establish, and do bigger shows, sponsors are more likely to be receptive.

I am aware of that GG. I think everyone in the wrestling industry is aware of that. Everyone except WCWA that is. It's as if you have to beat the guy in the skull with a crowbar to get an idea through to him.

I think the major problem is WCWA is dealing with to many people who have outside interests. In other words, Kevin Landry was helping him... Landry helps out most the feds in the Area, Holyoke Joe does the same... There for you get the same type show in WCWA, NEPW, PGW.... Only difference is that WCWA doesn't promote like the rest of them. I know when those two other guys were helping in WCWA, they had ideas... They tried to change things in the company and both left because they didn't like the way the company was going. Kinda like get off the ship before it shinks
