Erich Egoh defeated Diamondback Jack Maverick

Roxxie Laveaux and LuFisto fought to a No Contest when Justin Credible & Devito interfeared and attacked Roxxie

Ron Zombie and Mr. TA w/ Johnny Fabulous battled to a Draw in a Dog Collar Match when both men touched the 4th turnbuckle at the same time

Jay Lethal defeated Jose Perez, Brian Fury, Benny Jux, Malice, and Max Bauer in a brutal Money in the Bank Ladder Match. All these men took horiffic bumps in and out of the ring. An indy match of the year qualifier.

John Walters w/ Johnny Fabulous defeated 2 Cold Scorpio in an "I Quit Match" (When the referee was knocked out, Johnny Fabulous screamed I Quit into the mic, the ref thinking it was Scorpio. The Danbury Mayor was special referee.)

The French Connection w/ Johnny Fabulous defeated Purty Sweet (Kurt Adonis & Scott Ashworth)

Team 3D defeated Justin Credible,DeVito, and LuFisto in a Tables Match after the Dudleyz powerbombed LuFisto through a Table.

Ok first off this show was done a lot better than last time. Security was on top of things better, fans were kept away from the barricade for the most part and most importantly there was a much better ring announcer this time.

First match started off like a classic old school wrestling match with lots of psychology but it dragged after a while. Fans were really into this match due to the fact that Erich Egoh was announced from Danbury, CT. Jack Maverick reminds me of Outlaw Ron Bass and to me this guy has a future.

Roxxie and LuFisto was a waste of Roxxie but was done to hype the main event and turned into a classic ECW promo with Devito and Credible.

Next up was Zombie vs TA w/ John Cena Sr. in the dog collar match. This match was a disaster from the start. The timing in this match could not be any worse. Everyone in the crowd was behind Zombie but mainly kept laughing at the mistimed moves. The match ended when both men touched the 4th corner at the same time. Ref Holyoke Joe gave the win to Zombie and handed him the belt, another ref came in and gave the belt to TA, a 3rd ref came in and made it a draw. this is where confusion happened as Zombie nailed TA with the belt and TA attacked all 3 refs including the 2 that gave him back his belt. I was looking forward to this match but it turned out to be the worst of the night.

Money in the bank was next Slyck is a no show and this match was good but not great. Lethal seemed like he did not want to be there at all. He didn't get into his gimmick at all and he barely did anything. Benny Jux went for a crazy leap off the top of the ladder onto everone but Lethal on the floor but the ladder slipped under him and he took a nasty face first drop into the floor. Lethal used this to climb the ladder and win.

Next up was the worst match of all time due to the horrible ref job by the Mayor. It was funny cause I don't think he knows the first thing about wrestling. When the guys were in submission moves he had to keep being told to ask if they quit, he stood in the ring laughing when they fought on the floor, he didn't break holds when guys got in the ropes and at one point Scorpio had Walters in a reverse chin lock and he asked Scorpio if he gives up Laughing He then took the worst bump since Linda Mcmahon took a Stone cold stunner and John Cena Sr. yelled I quit into the mic and the match was over as the mayor gave the win to Walters who is the new champ. the Mayor brought a cop with him to the ring who tried to tell him what really went down but was attacked by Cena. The cop ran after them and dropped his gun in the process so the ring announcer kicked it under the ring before a fan could grab it and brought another cop out to retrieve it. as the refs were attending to Scorpio a drunken lady (in her 40's I would say) climbed in the ring to help Scorpio then went back to her seat and was not even questioned. I guess everyone including the security thought it was part of the show.

Intermission.

I don't remeber much about the next match cause I was at the snack bar.

The main event was nothing special but the fans were really into it. Devito went through the announce table which was made of plastic and in the process took out the ring announcer then the Dudley's put Lufisto through a table for the win. Bubba grabbed the mic and announced them the winners since the ring announcer was down. Fans started to leave at this point til Bubba asked where everyone was going cause it's time for the best part of the show. They gave away 3 pieces of the table to 3 little kids in the crowd and brought them in the ring for a picture. then Bubba gave a speech to the crowd how TNA is fun but the real reason they are still in this business is to go out and do what they do for great fans at shows like this. Then the drunk lady came back to the ring and Bubba said on the mic "Who are you? Devon's hotel room number is 513" then security escorted her out of the building. (This lady was drinking all night and must have had atleast 15 beers maybe more). Crowd started chanting 3d as the Dudleys left the ring.

The crowd was rather small but I anticipated this since the Candlewood Lake fireworks were also last night and a lot of people I talked to even said they would rather go to free fireworks than pay to see a wrestling show. When you have kids I guess I can understand that especially with the economy as bad as it is right now. Overall I had fun at the show. BTW shows remind me of an old school show from the 80's and I hope they come back but right now no return date was given.

First time poster here to the forum, so hi guys.

I attended the show last night. I knew it was in an air-conditioned ice rink, but man, was it cold. Beats the alternative, I guess. Sat second row in section 3 in my wheelchair with my dad and uncle. I have attended NYWC, ROH and WWE shows in the past, and decided to give BTW a try. I have to say, from a wrestling standpoint, I was a little disappointed. I'll tell you why.

For starters Egoh/Maverick was good, but a little too long. Roxxi was unfortunately just there to collect a paycheck, as her "match" with LuFisto didn't last two minutes. The Dog Collar match was the worst match of the night, by far. It was about as thrilling as a Mark Henry match. Thinking of a having a dog collar match on every show is just stupid.

Now the rest of the show was good, IMO. MITB was a no brainer - of course Lethal was going to win. The most over heel of the night was Johnny Fabulous (Cena Sr.) He got heckled and returned the favor in spades, saying Danbury was famous for two things: Crime and fat people. It was also fun booing the mayor. The mayor asked Scorpio if he wanted to quit at one point and Scorpio yelled something like "Yo mama!" (Big laughs)

Besides the Dudley's, the most over faces were Purty Sweet. They had a very good match with the French Connection. Adonis and Ainsworth blatantly stole the Hart Foundation gimmick, they dressed like them and even did the "Hart Attack" finisher, but eventually lost.

The main event 6 person tag was good. The Dudley's looked sharp, and it was fun to heckle LuFisto - man, is she fat! The fans in the front row were calling her "Thunder thighs" and all types of names, and she replied, "I'm not fat, I'm just big boned!" which got a laugh. I left as Bubba was asking where everyone was going.

So it was better than an NYWC show in terms of star power, but most of the undercard had botched matches or just something missing from them. I may give BTW another try in the future.

Awesome Kong & Amy Lee are fat. LuFisto is "thick". Most of what you're seeing in the thighs there is actually muscle.

I wouldn't call anything involving Credible and Devito a classic.

Justin and Devito are more of the "new" ECW guys. They came in towards the middle/end of ECW.

...and anyone have a picture of lufisto? Most wrestling fans will say a girl is fat if shes any bigger then talia. its kind of annoying. id take a chick like sara del ray over a michelle mccool any day.

Volture, how was it so much fun, when you said there were two of the worst matches ever? hehe.

Interesting reports. I did not understand why you would put the mayor in a huge match like that one, I do like JF saying I quit tho..thats funny. Cop dropped a gun, it was kicked under ring. Someone was afraid it would be used? WTF went on last night. Women jumping in the ring, drunken women too..etc. Sounds like it was a night of wrestling and shenanigans..

And TA, you knew he'd do something sneaky to keep the title..haha. Smile

Saturday's show wasn't s good as the last one, but it was still a lot of fun. They were somewhat differently structured shows anyway. The first show as all about big names and surprises [some planned, some last minute]. This show was pretty much all built around one name, Team 3D, and one match, Team 3d vs Credible/DeVito/LuFisto. Yes there were other attractions, but the focus was pretty much on the main event.

The ladder match was excellent, good enough that Slyck really wasn't much missed. Only drawback was the scary wipeout by Benny Jux, at which point they wisely went immediately to the finish. Hopefully Jux is okay; anyone have an update on him?

The mayor did indeed screw up the 'I Quit" match to an extent, but it was still good thanks to excellent work by Scorpio and Walters. Two screwjob finishes in one night seemed like one too many, but one understands the booking reason for doing this.

I can't comment on the main event as I missed large portions of it due to the IDIOT CAMERAMAN who kept blocking my view, along with the view of many people in my section. #58, I'm talking to YOU. They need to either teach this guy how to shoot without getting in people's way or else just fire his dumb ass. I vote for option 2 myself. The video camera operators and photographers were a problem throughout the main event; they were such a clustermess that they couldn't even get out each others' way, much less avoid blocking the fans view, which they did constantly. (CJ is excepted from these remarks, as she never blocked anyone from what I could tell.) What I could see of the match was pretty good but I missed a lot of moves because of the aforementioned camera idiots.

It seems the camera and video thing is an issue, at shows where there are multiples. I think they could move around more, tho the cameramen/women at shows I attend, such as Jas, Ceej and Kaz, don't usually block views, as they r always moving around. Vid guys need to get the shot, but when there's too many there, its a bit much.

That said tho, what suggestions are there to cut down on this? I don't see what can be done, short of having fewer people at ringside.
