Yeah, that IS a long shot. Even if you're able to find one at that price, you still have to pay big bucks to get it delivered to you.

Your best bet would be to buy some ring blueprints and purchase the raw materials, the ropes, the turnbuckle stuff, and canvas (probably not apron just yet) and build it yourself.

Right on ebay you can purchase plans for a wrestling ring...usually several different styles. PLEASE though...if you're going to build it yourself, have some clue of basic construction and if you've never welded anything...you're out of luck. You could do what I did and take courses at a local vocational school and learn. I'm slowly but surely making a new ring myself-but I've been in construction since I was 12 and taken welding classes.

All you do is eliminate labor on the ring and the mark up on materials. $1000 bucks may still be way too low of an estimate. I bet I have around $1200 in materials on my new one I'm building. It takes a lot longer to do it this way though, as you only get to work on things for limited amounts of time. Plus...I take my time, making sure I get things right.

Jason Knight says all you need is some nylon rope, duct tape and old street signs.

So bumpitup, unless someone is selling you something old and busted and a danger to all who step in it or you can build one yourself, you won't find anything in that price range unless it's one of those inflatable deals you can rent from a party place.

Your best bet is to save up a few more thousand and checking out highspots.com or ebay or something.

I think he already sold it. He mentioned to me that he had alot of people interested in it when I contacted him about it on behalf of a friend

Besides, he said he needed to get rid of it by the 30th of last month and that has already passed and he wanted 3000 for it.

The cheapest rings I've seen is on Highspots.com their 16" ring costs like 3500 bucks, and that doesn't include delivery. And on eBay they're going for like 4 grand or more.

You'd get a rental deal probably out of 1000.00 but that's just about it.

You should offer the 1,000 bucks to the shitty group at goodtimes, and buy their ring, do everyone a favor!

Or the people up in Northern Maine at Pyro Championship Wrestling. Then the backyarders will go back to the backyard and stop trying to promote themselves as a real fed. Laughing

He's deaf and the "translation" comes through kind of rough sometimes.

I have one. 3500 cash takes it away. It is brand new and comes with extra cables. Made by Mike Samples. Reply to the thread please.
