from their website in the ABOUT tab: Pyro Championship Wrestling was founded in Caribou, Maine, and has been growing since September of 2006. Its objective: to revolutionize the wrestling business with creative innovation and dynamic new ideas in management and operations. PCW caught the eye of the public during the winter months of 2007 at its first show in the Aroostook Centre Mall in November, and the 8 weeks of free promotional shows that followed. The agreement between the mall and PCW came to an abrupt end in January of 2008. Although the time spent in the Mall was short-lived, the reaction of the public proved that PCW is here to stay.
Since then, PCW has been putting on shows about once a month at various locations around Aroostook County, continuing to put on the best possible show for the fans. The future of PCW looks as bright as ever, booking shows in bigger venues, spreading further across the state, and even negotiating a possible television timeslot are in the works.
Our licensed professionals are ready to give the fans the best show possible. PCW invites anyone with prior wrestling experience or that thinks they have what it takes to make it in wrestling to inquire about becoming part of our roster. For those interested, download an application here. Follow the printed instructions and be patient in waiting for a response; there are a lot of interested applicants out there!

I have a friend who says they put on a pretty good show...
But I haven't seen it myself so I'm not gonna comment personally. |

They have a better roster than that company that runs at the arcade in Somerville. Infact, DC Hannon and Brian Reese's Cup should jump ship. |

*Writes the left-side stuff down in his notebook* Good to know.
There are at least "fitness areas" in nearby hotels and the UMaine campus there has something because my friend did janitorial work there while he went to school. Not sure if it's open to the public or not...
Regardless, these clowns aren't concerned with taking care of themselves or they'd learn how to wrestle properly. But yeah, they'd look less like idiots if they did some cardio to work that endurance up... and if they ditched the pad so they could actually run in that funhouse attraction they call a wrestling ring.
EDIT: Actually I can't tell if their ring is padded or if they have some kind of plastic tarp over it. Either way, it looks stupid and makes the already poorly-mobilized look even more graceless.
They have no concern over making the flow in a match look natural. It flows about as smoothly as wet sand through a funnel.
AND to elaborate on the "Hot Topic" thing: If EVERYONE in your fed is "Dark and Mysterious" or "Disturbed and Insane" NOBODY is.
If I'm so hot about how bad this snake brody pack looks, it's because I think Northern Maine deserves better. At least NAWA is spreading more northward and did quite well in it's Presque Isle show. |
Just stay positive and those pesky Protons can't get you!

I live up here in BFE Aroostook County Maine. I have seen all but two shows and let me say the quality is sinking and sinking fast. You can only hope for so much from people who know nothing but what they see on tv.
Out of 12 or so wrestlers, maybe 3 are any good. The matches are crap at best. The "trainers" are not even the good wrestlers.
PCW is in a little war with the AWF (Aroostook Wrestling Federation) both are backyard feds with PCW management (left awf with some of their wrestlers) and started PCW.
The ring is concave in the middle and the cover of the ring is a red tarp.
They have moved from place to place and now they are having shows an hour away from their home base because the local fans do not want to pay 6 dollars a piece (for adults AND 6 for kids).
Storylines are for friends only. The others who work the hardest and make it look the best are the ones who get left out in the dark. They are bringing in outside wrestlers to make themselves look legit.
AWF even "invaded" one of their shows and handed out shirts to fans attending the PCW show. Their former PCW champion Phoenix told a little kid to take the shirt off, the fan was about 7. And no, he wasn't acting, he was dead serious.
Their website used to have a good forum but when the heat got turned up on their own forum from fans they censored the whole thing and took it offline.
PCW claims to be legit "licensed" wrestlers. (pay 60 or so dollars for a license) and whala.... a "licensed" professional wrestler.
AWF might be backyard, but they only wrestle for the local fans and never wanted to be anything more or pretend to be a fed for monetary purposes. PCW is bad news and by this time next year.... a serious after thought. |

"Licensed" may be the only true part of that 3-word title. They are neither professional or wrestlers.

"Things happened?" I'm somewhat confused.
But I'm curious, Johnny, what does the rest of the NAWA roster think, if anything, about these clowns? |
