If you use the middle finger and the index finger in the "proper" hole and the ring finger and the pinky in hershy highway all at the same time, that's called a Vulcan shocker.

My method is actually 2 and 2...and to avoid the "stink", I coat the incoming fingers with Fabreeze.

Saw this movie last week. Heath Ledger's performance was nothing short of phenominal (sp? too tired to look it up). Eerie, creepy, dead on on the money as to how a villian should be portrayed. Most evil Joker yet. It is clear he put his whole heart and soul into this role. I hope he gets the Oscar. Oscar should go to the best performer, living or dead. In all fairness, I don't even know who he is up against. But it would take a mighty hefty performance to out do Ledger's. He made the movie.

Oscar nominations don't happen for another 3 or 4 months.

So much flesh...so little time.

Okay so here's the thing about The Dark Knight. Every time Ledger was not on screen the life got sucked right out of it. I love Aaron Eckhart and thought he did a tremendous job as Harvey Dent/Two Face but it was clear from the opening heist scene to the ending that this was all about the Joker. It also didn't help that the movie seemed to be written with the intention of being able to cut it up and make a great trailer. After two and a half hours the constant "quotable" lines were just annoying and the idea that this movie provides any sort of social commentary is laughable. Don't get me wrong, I thought The Dark Knight was very good and I think Ledger's performance is award worthy (still to early too tell though) but the movie itself should not even be in Oscar discussion and WALL-E blows it away as being the movie of the summer so far.

Sounds familiar. The initial Batman would have been a bore without Nicholson as the Joker.

The first time I saw TDK, some schmuck was using a cell phone right in front of me every 5 minutes. So fucking annoying. I went again a couple weeks ago and some teenage ditz was using it and showing her friends. she had a darker screen so not as annoying but still i was ready to punch her.

I have no tolerance for that shit. Last time I went to a theatre was to see Clerks II. I ended up telling 3 people to shove their phones in there ass and threatened to mutilate some dumb bitch who wouldnt shut up. I dont react well to that shit. When I can bring in a handgun ill go back.

I'm not the choicemaker, I'M THE BUTCHER!

Well, I agree with The Butcher. You pay like $10 for a movie ticket, you don't want to listen to some bimbo on his or her cell. I've only experienced that maybe once. But what bugs the heck out of me is when you go to a restaurant and there is a crying kid and the parents don't have the common sense to take the kid out of there. I mean on vacation here we were, nice place, expensive, on the water, just a treat for us and there was this crying kid and the parents didn't have the decency to GTF out of there. I have no patience for that. I know kids will be kids, but when you risk taking kids to a place like that you have to accept the fact that you might have to get up and leave. I hate inconsiderate people like that. Either accept the fact and just don't go or spring for a sitter.

Obviously, Randally, you have not shelled out $25+ for an entree and been unable to enjoy it because some brat is pitching a fit and the parents are too considerate to take him out of the restaurant. I know kids will be kids, but that's no excuse to have a room full of people's dinner ruined by a brat screaming and causing a scene.

And to get this semi back on track, I was talking to a co-worker last night about this movie and he said he was annoyed by some baby who started crying about 1/2 hour before the movie ended. I mean BABY as in in an infant seat baby. WTF do people bring babies to a movie for? For the love of pete, find somebody trustworthy and you are comfortable leaving the baby with and spring for the $5 an hour or whatever and go to the movie alone.

To call a Pixar movie a kids movie (with the exception of Cars) is like calling all these superhero movies kids movies (which people have done) Pixar is so awesome cause they make movies that cater to everyone. Still I haven't seen Wall-E yet but I can't see how that was better than this.
