I just drove 5.5 miles out of my way, because I was near the state line, to find out gas in Mass is 4 cents more than in CT. Those bastards. Gas has been 20 cents less in Massachiusetts than in Connecticut for 15 years or more.

I saw that gas was 4.02 in CT so I thought I'd get it for less than $4 up the road. Nope.

Those bastards. Just to spite them I put in $2 and drove back to Connecticut.

I believe in Randy Orton.

Damn, everywhere I go in central CT it's $4.25 or higher.

So much flesh...so little time.

My reply dissappeared.

It's $4.02 at the Citgo in Suffield Center. I drove up to Longmeadow for the "cheaper" gas but it was $4.06. So I bought $2 worth and drove back to Connecticut.

Gas dropped like 20 cents in the last week. Look around. That 5% could save a lot.

I believe in Randy Orton.

Yesterday, there were a couple of stations on Route 114A in Seekonk, MA (exit 1 off I-195...Citgo and Shell) that were charging $3.89 for self-serve regular. Also, for some reason, gas stations in New Bedford, MA tend to be a few cents cheaper than Fall River, Dartmouth, Westport, etc.

Bristol is 4.17, Cromwell is 4.19

Springfield/Agawam for gas was $4.03 - $4.14, mass is still cheaper then anywhere around here.

The average price in my area is between $4.17 and $4.35. A few places are doing the "cash or credit" deal, but they raise the price of the cash price.... down the street to do it cash is $4.17... its $4.35 for credit.... while the cumbys next door is $4.19 cash or credit.

The heat is on in the Cutlass 08 Tour

The cheapest up this way is 4.06 over at the Oneida Nation, 4.08 over at BJ's, 4.09 at Sam's Club, and the 4.10 starting at the non-wholesale/non- reservation gas station

DeWitt, New York (WSYR-TV) - There are some signs of improvement in prices at the gas pump. Another drop in oil prices Tuesday - the fourth in five trading sessions - dropped a barrel of oil $20 in just a week and a half.

It's starting to help us at the pumps, but most say not fast enough.

We caught up with some people pleased with the drop at one Marcellus gas station, where on Tuesday a gallon of gas could be had for $3.99.

"As more supplies come in, and we use up some of the older supplies, you'll see prices moderate a little more, but as long as there is demand and they can sell it for $4.15, they will," says Syracuse University economics professor Michael Wasylenko.

Folks at the Marcellus Mobil were both surprised and quite happy to see prices drop to $3.99 a gallon.

"How sad is it that it's a good surprise to be $3.99 a gallon,” says driver Adrienne Thousand.

Even though prices are going down, they never seem to drop quite as quickly as they go up. Wasylenko says there's two factors at play; oil companies are still paying the same for refining costs, and as long as there is demand, they're going to try to make money off it.

This jackass finds gas for $4.02 and immediately drives 30 miles away. BRILLIANT! Do you run for the border when you find good sales in stores as well?
