..... I was outside WWE Headquarters on Wednesday Taking Photos for my Wrestling Newsletter when I Spotted , 2 guys and a camera crew outside of WWE Corporate Office in Stamford CT.
I knew they looked famillar, When I got home I went online. It was Shane and Eric Alden who were featured on MTV last year and, who are a fairly well known tag team in the New England area. Not sure on to why they were there, but I emailed Eric on Myspace and he has yet to respond.

If I'm not mistaken wasn't the show actually about twins, and it just so happens that they were involved with wrestling, rather than a "True Life: I'm a wrestler" type of series.

I've seen the two of them work, they are FAR from ready for so much as a developmental deal. They need to spend more time in the gym and less time in the tatoo parlor.

These two can only be described as complete and utter retards. I know this because I have had expierience dealing with them on a one to one basis. They are marks beyond all belief. They have more than once tried out for WWE and have been shot down by some of the best talent scouts out there. They were told that they had no future in this business. They honestly think they are beyond the best of the best. Because they did this show on Tv they thought that Vince McMahon would automatically bring them in. What a joke. They were told in more than one tryout that they were absolutely shitty wrestlers and were told not to come back again.

The real kicker in this is they are the first to put people down and yet they need to look into their own families first. Enough said.

Nope. My fault completely. I feel victim to one of the worst things you can do: post without wearing your glasses. The point I was blindly shooting for was that everyone on here can not be original all over the world. A quick Google shows a band named Volture. But you are still unique in this community. End of rant. What I'm really more interested in is why the person deemed it necessary to 1. sign up on this board just to dig up an old post, and then add nothing constructive to it,or 2. create a new screen name solely for the purpose of posting in an old thread where he/she doesn't want their identity revealed.

wow.... the Aldens deserve a round of applause. One little video got everyone talking. Exactly what they wanted to do. They were on MTV in that Sibling Rivalry episode, but they were barely showed. The sucess did not go to their heads, however they did use the exposure as a gimmick and why the hell not. It worked for Mike Mizannon.

They were also featured on Fuse' Dance off, pants off" where you strip to music on TV. Why on earth anyone would want to do that is beyond me, but they were on all the commercials for it so again... exposure.

Additionally, they were featured on the short lived Greg Brendt show where they spoke about how their rivalry and passion for wrestling was tearing the family apart. Shane's long-time girlfriend and fellow worker Barbie was also on the episode.

Greg (or the Aldens) also brought out Matt Hyson (Spike Dudley) to offer support and told them if they could get along, he would submit a tape of their work to TNA executives to get them a try-out.

These 3-televised expereicnes as well as their recent antics with the WWE video (which is similar to Jackass/DX invasion of WCW) got them even more exposure all over the boards and myspace.

They are doing what every Indy talent that wants to get over in their market and become noticed does, get their names out there.

Granted not all their media outlets portaited them in positive light, but they were seen on National tv never the less.

We should all be so passionate and risk taking.

Getting exposure on You Tube and MySpace is kind of dubious, like Crash Davis' 229 career minor league home runs.
