I cannot for the life of me, wrap my brain around the grammar errors and spelling mistakes of that post.
Just, wow. |

How about people taking the time to proof read their posts? You know so maybe it actually makes sense?
There is no excuse for not using a quick spell check, especially when you are trying to sell a product to people. |

Seriously, I don't want to be sucked into this stupid petty message board bs.
You are either an complete moron or you are just intentionally doing this for attention.
I am not responding to anymore posts from you. |

Why was I singled out here?
I was not the first to respond.
My first response was not attacking this guy at all. It was about a post that was totally unreadable. I just happened to be the first to point that out.
I am sure that this man is trying hard. That does not excuse not being able to put together a paragraph that makes sense. Defending someone you don't know and calling someone you don't know an asshole is even more immature then critiquing some one's writing.
I have a fan for over 25 years. I love the business.
As a fan, I am insulted that a promoter wouldn't even take the time to write a proper post on a show that they want people to attend.
I know full well that not everyone has a great education. I only have a high school diploma but I still manage to look up words I don't know and I use spell check and I am not selling a product to the public.
So instead of calling me an asshole, why don't you help this man out with his writing or show?
And no, it is not ironic. |

He's a good, fairly intelligent guy who's trying to put on a good show but is admitingly not an English lit major.
Let's put it this way...in the past 2 years, I've worked primarily for myself and for the EWA (which runs infrequently). Aside from that, I worked a short stint of Chaotic bookings and a couple of EPW bookings. My work history as of late would indicate I really don't want to work for anyone unless I have a really good feeling on them, and I'm on this guy's show. I like to work for good people, not abbreviated alphabetic combinations. Like me or no, I don't throw the endorsements around very often and I'm impressed enough to lend my tired old body to the show.
As to his writing skills...while it's in a roofing company, I work in the office and handle and review a lot of incoming and outgoing letters. You would be amazed to see just how off some people's grammar is no matter how intelligent they are. If you don't write a lot, you tend to...well, to not be good at it. Not everyone is the overly verbose egomaniac I am.
Hope to see you guys in October...but not before I see you in Leominster, Ma for the FRW show on the 12th of September!

I'm sorry for offending anyone in this thread. I did some research into this show last night.
It still doesn't change my opinion about how unprofessional it looks to release a statement that is unintelligible.
I expect a level of professionalism in this business that I guess I'm not going to see anymore because half assing a show announcement is some how somthing to be applauded. I guess times have changed and I'm just now catching on.
Again, I'm sorry for being so harsh. |

thanks JB for pointing that out. all these "insiders" seem to think we know who this guy is and all about his company and shows just because they do. the post thread has been up for 26 hours plus and we dont have the info you mentioned. |

There was another post about this, someplace. Names I have heard as definite or very likely are Hurricane John Walters, Antonio Thomas, Jason Blade, The Alumni club, and I believe Mav Wild is confirmed for one of the shows.
I look forward to hearing more names, confirmation of these, and match announcements as the time approaches. |
