Instead of bashing do a little reserch!

Ummm, this is the research. I'm asking who trained those guys. I'm not bashing, I'm inquiring.

I don't think this guy can do anything but bash, look at some of his other posts. He enjoys his bashing because he can't lace the boots up. It's not the trainer, it's the athlete.

Actually you're wrong, because it is the trainer.
Without the trainer, you're not trained.
Without training, you're not a worker.

So your saying with a good trainer, anything can become a worker? I hate to tell ya, it's the athlete. I'm not athlete, and I promise, Killer Kowalski, Bob Evans, Al Snow and Vince McMahon are not going to make me one. TNA might, but that's not the subject at hand.

You're wrong again, because what I said is "without training you're not a worker"...

I didn't say that anyone with training is a worker, I said anyone without it, isn't...

I'm sorry, I thought you said it was the trainer ^.
Now, i'm not a wrestler, not a wrestling professional, I'm just a fan. Del Toro, what is your wrestling affilliation and what gives you teh right to say what a worker is or isn't. The way I see it, anyone who entertains me is "the worker." But, i'm just the paying fan, what do I know?

BTW, why do you hate AWE so much?

First of all, I don't hate the AWE. All I wanted to know was if these guys were trained. How many shows get posted on here that are loaded with untrained guys? The answer is a lot.

So, as a "fan", you're saying that if a guy gets in the ring and entertains you, then he's a "worker"? Even if he has no training?

You're just proving my point...

This isn't a professional wrestling show, it's a car crash and even a car crash has it's entertainment value.

I'm sure the show will be entertaining in a "look at these idiots try and wrestle" sort of way, but it won't be a professional wrestling show.

For someone not bashing you're doing a really shitty job of it. Look before you cast judgement you should see the product and by the way no one on here has said they weren't trained.

I remember when everyone was hollering about who train Pizzazz and hes a damn good worker.

Just because you're ignorant to the information doesn't mean what you perceive is correct. I'm sure AWE wouldn't put on a show unless they knew the wrestlers were safe. Too many lawsuits and injuries for that kinda stuff.

What's the best way to get information?
Go to the source.
I'm here at the source of the AWE.
Where's my information?

I asked a simple question, who trained some of these guys? You answered that one of them was trained by Bob Evans. Well, who trained the others?

Kamikaze trained with Bob Evans for a very short time. Bob & I opened a school in Nashua together & Dube never made one practice the entire year we were there. Just because you attented some classes somewhere, that does not make you trained!

I actually heard the Kamikaze was training guys, i find that hard to beleive. I am going to try my best to go to this show because I want to see if it's true.

Hope to see alot of you there.

So, a guy with little training is training guys?

That sounds about right.

Two things, and I only know this because Kamakazi is a personal friend,
Kamakazi trained with Bob in Chicopee Ma before Slamtech was opened with Bobs first class for an extended period of time. I'm sure Evans himself can verify this if he reads this and chooses to answer. I also know he had carved out for him a nice little resume of work when he was active oh so many years ago.

Your second thing, I like how you took eerything Soony said as the gospel and ran with it. Just because someone says something doesn't make it true.

Also I believe from the initial post the source for the information is www.awewrestling.info, if the hammer is your source for wrestling info then you truely are a mark and know nothing about the business as you call it.

You didn't just simply ask who trained them. You posted it as an insult to these kids. I'll be the first to admit, I went to my first NLP Show last month. I walked in and laughed at the set up. I took picutures to share with my friends because it didn't look like anything that could possibly be good. By the time the show ended, these kids had me hooked. The tag team with the bald guy and tall dude (I believe one is the above mentioned Dyce and the other was called Blackjack), Pizazz, Chris Blackheart, Da Hoodz, Team NLP (I wish I remembered more of the names) put on a damn good show. They made a fan of me. I will go to the next show, and the guy who ran the show recomended this AWE show to me. So, if they are "yardtards" or untrained monkeys, I got my money's worth, I was entertained, and I'll go back. That's what I see the business as, and that makes them workers.

Took everything Sonny said as the gospel?

Sonny said that the guy trained a little, then stopped. Wouldn't Sonny know?

Also, there really isn't any information on awewrestling.info. You post on this website, so this website should also be a source of info.

"Wouldn't Sonny know?"

Does he know everything? Does he have a magical handbook with the answer to all questions?

No Soony only knows what he himself has seen and to come on here and discredit someone because you think you know something is piss poor. Then sheep like you think you know whats going on and you don't.

If you think these people suck go away and stop posting, don't attend the show, but to continually bash on a start up promotion because they are using some local non overbooked talent is stupid. If you wanna see NLP go to thier shows watch thier talent, if you wanna see chaotic and there people then go to thier shows. If youw ant something different and something that you've never seen before go to this show. I for one applaud a company fopr going outside the same old locker rooms and giveing people as shot. If the talent sucks and they keep booking them then be judmental, but atleast go and see what the fuck you are talking about before you bash.

Well personally, I prefer to hide behind my computer and shit on people I don't know. I mean I am an expert because I say so. I want to pass judgement on people I have never heard of. Because if I don't know who they are they are therefor untrained. I mean I am the world"s foremost expert on pro wrestling.

Everyone is inferior to me. I know everything about everything including promotions and wrestlers I have never seen or heard before.

Take everything I say as gospel because I said so.

Mike Dube trained with us for a while, then decided to focus more on his family life. As far as "carving out a nice little resume" back then, he had probably about 8-10 matches with EWA and Slamtech at most in the year + he was training with us (March 2000- June 2001).

I wouldn't call him a completely trained wrestler back then, he was just starting to work some shows.

I have no idea what happened to him since. I haven't seen him on the wrestling scene around here or anywhere else. Last I knew, he was working for some backyard guys and trying to show them a few things. That was a few years ago.

But Sonny's 100% correct about Dube not showing up to Nashua in 2001 when we moved from Chicopee, and I'm not sure he had much training after that.

If I was a wrestler and wanted to seriously train to be a pro wrestler, I think I would invest some time and money and find a school that could offer me more than platitudes and empty promises.

In my opinion, the guys who don't train in legitimate wrestling schools are cowards with low self-esteem because deep down they're all afraid to put in the hard work to do it the right way. Many of the guys who are working these shows don't have a clue and aren't brave enough to get one.

Again, in my opinion, if you want to get trained properly you go the following training camps:

Slamtech
Chaotic
Kevin Landry
Maverick Wild

I dare anyone of these backyarders or pseudo-backyarders or whatever they are to go to one of the following schools and NOT learn 10 new things in the first hour or two of practice.

The schools listed above have REAL references and REAL experience. Do they cost money? Yes, they should! Have you ever tried to teach yourself how to fly a plane? NO! Because you need real training from qualified individuals.

Sorry if this hurts some people's feelings, but I'm a bit sick of marks putting on shows and ruining towns and buildings for the legitimate businessmen that run good events around here. Don't give me crap about how you "try hard" and you're being picked on. I don't have a problem with backing up everything I say with REAL references and REAL experience. If you think you're really good, come up to the Terry Taylor seminar. I won't give any details to Terry about who you are and what you've done. You'll look like a fool.

We're trying to run a business. Go play in the sandbox somewhere else.

-Being a good worker is more based on your intelligence and applying that intelligence to a wrestling match than athletic ability. Being a good athlete is a plus, but you can cite several guys over the years that weren't the greatest athletes but had damn good matches. Zack Gowen was missing a leg. I think that would limt your athletic stride a bit, but with hard work he got all the way to the WWE.

-I have met several talented guys over the years that started training with unqualified trainers. They usually end up seeking membership with other facilities and will tell you straight out they wish they had known better before. At the same time, I will concede this point...even the best trainers are just that-trainers. None of us are wizards and if you simply don't have any aptitude for it, we can't help you.
