Funny you should ask. It happened something like this:

Max Bauer was stripped of the belt, I guess for being MIA. It was announced that Brian Malonis (Better known to Southbridge fans as Brian Roselli,) would be the new champion. Psycho comes out looking for a match for the evening. He was awarded a match against new champion Malonis. However, Malonis was not in attendance last night, so he forfeits the belt to Psycho. Psycho then goes on the defend against "I'm Not" Tarzan. I always thought Psycho would be a perfect fit in the ECCW program and he will make a good champ.

This is the first time I been to a ECCW show since the Shrewsbury days and I am happy to find that Southbridge has the same happy family type atmosphere that the tennis court had. It was nice being back in the old Southbridge KOC and they had a pretty good sized Southbridge type crowd, although it felt a little empty without Grandma Loomis. I know Dr. Heresy works occasionally with ECCW and it will be interesting to see him back in Southbridge, along with other EWA alumni like the aforementioned Brian Roselli, along with Chi Chi Cruz and Tony Omega.

Their next show is October 25. If it is half as good as the Halloween show from a few years ago (Vachon Brothers vs. Olson Brothers in a Casket Match with free candy flying around everywhere) it should be a fun time.
