The only thing I will contribute to this thread is reminiscing about how much I love the bWo theme.

Now I'm going to go watch my ECW tapes from WUNI and reminisce some more!

I think by stacked he means that the whole card looks pretty interesting. It's not Indy Wrestlemania but it's a very good show with a solid built toward most of the top matches. It's isn't just some throwaway show. Which is what CT has been getting lately.

Kurt Adonis/??? v. Ron Zombie/Magilla Special Ref: Stevie Richards

Brian Anthony v. Mr. Williams - Falls Count Anywhere

Chris Battle v. Anthony Battle - Brother v. Brother

Jose Perez v. Andy Sweet - Grudge Match

The Return of the 5 Star Elimination Match
"Wild Boy" Billy King v. Jason Snyper v. Frankie Arion v. Lukas Sharp v. MIKAZE

Mixed Tag Warfare
BMT and Ariel v. Eddie Kingston and Taeler

"Mr. Spotlight" Jeff Star v. "Exotic" Kristian Frost

also scheduled to appear...
Dan da Man, Chris Mooch, "Lethal" Eddie Latham, and more!!

if you haven't checked out the videos leading into this show, you don't know what you are missing.

Aside from the mixed tag, the 5 star and Perez/Sweet, the rest is throwaway, does any CASUAL fan care about Fat Battle? I know Skinny Irish Battle gets a lot of love on here for borrowing spots he sees in Ring of Honor tapes, but what about Fat Battle? I think Cute Battle selling merch is more over then both of them combined. For good reasons, the same reasons that women's wrestling is still on TV. And it isn't for the wrestling, God knows out of all the women's wrestling out there, only a small fraction of it is actually good.

I say casual fan because there are many people who feel like they are a part of wrestling because promoter man lets them play around near the ring or the merch table. You know who you are. And as a result, they blindly defend the product.

And then there are the people that know absolutely nothing that blindly defend the product, you know who you are.

The 5 Star match will easily steal the show, look at the talent involved. The King, The Frankie and The Mikaze will run the show. Lukas has some awesome moves, but man, he must hate his metabolism. That being said, he does well with what God gave him.

I want Kingston to backfist Ariel. Misogyny in wrestling amuses me.

What a waste of Stevie Richards. Bringing in outside talent to guest referee is stupid. He should be kicking face, but instead he's slapping mat. Stupid.

Stars in his eyes.

As a poster on here, I reserve the right to comment about anything as I see fit, I can praise, bury, slander and hype. It's a glorious thing to be an internet mark, but I don't have to tell you, you've probably been tossing notebooks since Lincoln wrestled.

So I don't have to go to the show, I can however offer my commentary and opinions, and they can be taken however by the poster of their show topics, or not at all, they reserve that right just as I do. So if I want to say Anthony Battle is uglier then Gimli, Son of Gloin, I have that right.

I've only seen that funny picture and read stuff about you, other then that, I haven't an idea who you are, so why would I be referring to you? You could be on your knees playing tonsil hockey with promoter PGW's package for all I know. You did get awful defensive awful fast, guilty conscience? Come on Ghosty Gray, this is a kind caring compassionate forum, go ahead and spill your guilt filled past and I'm sure enforcer and Randy Orton will console you back onto the notebook-launching road you were on.

So please don't get all anal just because I feel the need to say that this show could use a little more seasoning, and if you do feel the need to get anal, please keep it away from the internet.

PGW is about mixing young talent, with veterans. They have a good formula, and have good storylines. Yeah, its not perfect, NO promotion is, not even ROH, 2CW. JAPW, etc. They started small, as a place for guys to work, and still have that feel. So, having been there for every show, I know what I like, in that regard.

Far as your opinions, you DO have a right, and I apologize about that. Just pissed off tonight.

Far as Stevie, I think its cool he's there. They really probably didnt want to put him just "in a match" as all the matches have history, at least most of em. Or maybe he costs more to wrestle, and its financial too?

Thank you kindly. I tend to frequent this area from time to time, usually I end up regretting it. I'll occasionally come on to put over or bury something (as made evident in this topic), but other then that, no TBH for me, but who knows, maybe if the posters on here keep their posts intelligent enough for me to keep my lunch in, maybe i'll stick around.

I think it would be a smart business move for PGW to ban Ghost from shows as all he does is turn potential fans away with psychotic rants like the one I quoted.

This card needed Kingston v Perez. Seriously.

As much as I "hype PGW", I don't get the Kingston deal. They now have him in a "mixed tag" match, which I usually t hink are filler matches. He worked BMT in what I thought was a fairly weak/soft match back at the big Bridgeport show. Perhaps they can build him to be more "Kingtonesque" if he will be used consistently.

PGW is storyline driven, as everyone knows by now, and Jose is in one w Andy Sweet thats been built for several shows, and they likely couldn't put them with e/o, unless it was one of those deals where Jose got a "partner" (perhaps BMT, to keep that match intact) and then Sweet got a partner, who was Kingston. That way, at least Jose would work at some points in the match with Eddie. The ladies from the mixed tag could wrestle one on one. Mighta worked out better, but thats just another perspective. Bulldog and Mike M used to say to me in ACW, you want the pencil and the book? Smile

Also, its not a psychotic rant, just stated on an off night, to say the least. Sorry all ..man, Im sounding like someone else on the board..

and i dunno about foreigner dude up there, but i think the battle match could be good. hell, they're brothers, they've probably had this match going through their heads since the older one kicked the younger one in the head for being fat in the first place. and that hype video they had made it seem like it could be an epic ordeal
