Sad news for everyone going to Danbury and Edison, ROH announced that Motor City Machine Guns aren't going to be at the Danbury and Edison show. However, they're going to be replaced by......

LAX, HOMICIDE RETURNS TO ROH!!!!

So if Danbury gets LAX vs. Briscoes and if Edison gets LAX vs. Steen and Generico, it could be the greatest weekend ever.

I am not going to the show, but if I was, I would have rather seen the MCMG than LAX.

the Motor City Machine Guns of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin will not be able to appear at the 10/24 & 10/25 events due to a scheduling conflict. We apologize for the lineup change.

However, we feel we have a suitable replacement. Former ROH World Champion Homicide and his regular partner Hernandez, known as LAX, will now wrestle on the 10/24 Danbury, CT and 10/25 Edison, NJ events. It will be a homecoming weekend for Homicide in Ring Of Honor.

Homicide is one of the founding fathers of ROH. His feuds against Samoa Joe, CZW, Steve Corino and Colt Cabana have gone in the history books as some of the greatest feuds in ROH history. Homicide reached the apex of ROH when he won the World Title at "Final Battle 2006" in a sold out Manhattan Center to end Bryan Danielson's 15 month reign. "The Notorious 187" has been involved in some of ROH's greatest moments and matches. He has earned "ROH Legend" status and now for the first time in well over a year he will return to the ROH ring.

Homicide has devoted his time since ROH to teaming with the powerhouse Hernandez as LAX. Together, Homicide & Hernandez have gained recognition as one of the top tag teams in the sport. The duo has never tested themselves against ROH's rich tag team roster. Now they will get thrown into the fire of the ROH tag team division.

We will have more information on both shows including LAX's matches by the end of the week. We assure you that LAX will be in main event quality matches.

Thank you for all your support.

Well when I first rwad the post, i went "WHATTTTTTT" but when I saw LAX will be there i was MORE then happy. This is what happens when TNA runs 90 house shows a year and constantly is swapping guys in and out of house shows.

Cide BACK in ROH will be HUGE and if they cant draw in Danbury from the fact this will be his first time back in a long long time, theres problems.

Id think theyd keep the same matches and just insert LAX in them but im already seeing LAX vs The Briscoes at JAPW so a little different match would be nicer.

Double Double Shots to finish 2008!

12/5 - PGW in East Haven, CT
12/6 - NEW in Waterbury, CT
12/13 - JAPW in Rahway, NJ
12/14 - CHIKARA in Philadelphia, PA
12/27 - The "Final" Battle in 2008 (Very Tent)
1/10 - I finally come to FRW! Rochester, NH

This works for me. While MCMG are a good team, I'd rather see LAX, plus I haven't seen Homicide wrestle in way too long. It will be great to see him in ROH again.

Before this was announced, I had no plans to go to this show even though it was in biking distance. Really had no interest in seeing Sabin and Shelley. Now that LAX are on the card, I'm pretty much on the fence until their match is announced - if there's any sort of match where I'll get to see Generico bump like a maniac for all of Hernandez's power moves, I'll be there in a heartbeat.

I was going either way. except for a shot at Nigel I dont know if there was much for Homicide to do if he came back by himself so having both him and Hernandez in makes it a lot more interesting to me.

Yeah, thats exciting, but question. Does TNA "allow" their talent to go "near full out" on ROH or any other promotions? Case in point, the MCMG's. How have their matches been in ROH? I know if this Homicide is anything like the old days w Corino in ROH, the fans are in for a great treat. LAX vs Briscoes..wow..thatd almost get me to consider going, if I could, because IM not sure I'll be at JAPW in December, gotta see what develops there.

A few days ago, I watched ROH's Death Before Dishonor VI DVD from New York. Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. The Motor City Machine Guns was awesome. It was just what I hoped a match like this would be. At first, the Guns played up to the crowd with an emotional entrance, but as the match went on, they turned heel. Fantastic emotion throughout the match, with all the fast-paced, high-flying that I wanted to see from these four. I don't think TNA has input on how their wrestlers perform when they're booked outside of TNA. You can bet that the ex-ROH guys love the opportunity to perform in front of their core, and original fan base.

I wouldn't be totally sure about that, maybe with some wrestlers, who are on top of a PPV or whatever. Thanks tho Joshua for the clarification, and info. That sounds like it was a great match indeed.

I saw the home page of your site you just started too. Looks really good, and its been a while since we had anything that just hit New England shows, etc. Will be a nice compliment to the hammer.

Yeah, I'm definitely not sure of that. It's just the impression I have as a fan, a non-insider.

MCMG didnt seem too held back in NYC... though, the match wasnt as good (so I hear) as the one the night before in Virginia.

If you ever see MCMG's OUTSIDE of TNA, you will be shocked.
