Worst to first, I must say its unbelievable. Congrats to the Rays, as they move on to face the Red Sox or Angels. This is an exciting team.

If Red Sox win ALDS, Rays have home field in the ALCS..Angels win, they do.

Regardless, Im happy for the Rays, as their storybook has just added a new chapter. Smile

a Second straight GREAT game, with the Red Sox pulling it off w a big two out hit. And, Yankees fan or not, don't anyone say the guy was safe at third in the 9th. Varitek ONLY dropped the ball, after he had tagged runner and his glove then hit ground..

Kaz, I wouldnt say that, as you havent been around to see Great ALCS series, but I think its going to be exciting. I think the Sox will probably take it, but I hope Tampa does of course. Regardless, I think its Going to be a lot of fun, for a trip to the World Series 2008 Exclamation

the sox are great, tampa has been great all season. i saw the comparisons of runs, batting averages, eras, etc...and they're pretty much evenly split.

Agreed. However, I do think we're looking at one of the most competitive in a long time.

If it was Yanks vs Rays, GG would be saying it is the best....

...and he was out... he dropped the ball after the tag.

Big Papi will be extra gassy after all the see-food he will eat in Tampa.

Yuk will have his beard grow so thick birds will be nesting there.

The state of Florida will tell Jacoby Ellsbury he is too young to be in the majors, as he is still 16, right?

..and Kevin Cash's work visa has just expired.

Oh and Mike Lowell will be doing commercials for "Just for Men" while he is pondering hip replacement sergery. I heard his grandmother is jealous.

I can think of 1976, Yankees and Royals right off the bat, as a great series. Sorry FF, it has nothing to do w the Yankees not being in it. I hope it is a great series too, so I can really enjoy it.

Lowell is a loss for the Sox, but they just plug in a guy like Kotsay, and it turns to Gold. They have a lot of good luck, not just good players.

I enjoy the jokes Kaz, but the Red Sox are awful good. I still think the Rays have a good shot to win, and I picked them, but the Red Sox aren't where they are by accident either. I haven't heard the pitching rotations yet, but I would go Sheilds/Kazmir/Garza vs DiceK/Beckett/Lester. I think that way, the Sox would have Lester in game seven if needed, but again, maybe they don't wanna risk it. Plus, I think both clubs will only use three starters. we'll see. Can't wait for game one on Friday.

Fuck you Old Man. Hopefully, we'll all get lucky and you'll electrocute yourself in the bathtub.

Yeah, they do have luck, so does every team, there certainly was no intent on slamming the Sox there.

The Rays really IMO have to take both games in Tampa at the start to have a good shot in this series.

Seriously, Kaz. It will be a fun series no matter who wins. Just enjoy it and quit acting like a five year old.

Less drama, more wrestling, please.

I call Sox in 6. It's gonna be close in a few games but I know the Sox can pull this off.

Q: What has 400 feet and 3 teeth?
A: The first row of the bleachers at Yankee Stadium.
