On this historic day, we at The Burning Hammer would like to remind everyone to let their voice be heard. Despite which candidates you like or dislike, please go out and vote. Each individual's vote does matter and the first step to being heard is by submitting your ballots today. Every day citizens of our country (be it on our homeland or overseas) give their lives so we may all have an individual voice. We have spent hundreds of years, from the Boston Tea Party to the Civil War to the Montgomery Bus Boycotts, fighting to have this opportunity. Today is just a reminder of what is great about this country and the people of the United States of America. So please take a moment to submit your ballots in your district today and let freedom ring. God bless America!

Looks like the board represents the minority.

This is what happens when people like Snake Brody are allowed to vote.

The truth is whoever won we need to stand behind him, especially in the time of war. People are dying everyday, so no matter what my feelings are in this election. I feel like I need to support whoever is running this country TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. Just food for thought thats all

screw that, you need to support an effort to bring back some troops that were all sent over as part of a facade to hide the fact that do to george's moronic way of running things he could not find bin laden. so he figured, "hey look over here, we are winning..bin ladin who?" not to mention all those deaths for NO REASON. how many of you know that the entire bush family has ties through their oil business with iraq? hmm no hussein to stand in their way, war is the excuse for gas prices to soar...who makes out...the bush family and many other HUGE corporations. who loses, the american people, and the american family. especially the ones who had sons DIE after they Volunteered to go because they thought they were going to protect their country from weapons of mass destruction. the bush's household fed off our fears, and drove some poeple somewhere we had no buisness being. fuck g.w.b. and fuck all you short sighted morons who voted for that piece of shit. granted kerry wouldnt have been much better, but at least it would have been something different instead of losing out in the same old things, and driving things down. cant wait to see how well he fucks things up now. just a warning to countries like norway and iceland. be careful, we might come destroy your country for fun, i mean because you are threatening our freedom, i mena because you have weapons of mass destruction, i mean because george and his clan need a new payday.

bush is a joke.

you cant bring the troops home unless you abandon iraq. its not that simple. id love for them to come home but we went into iraq and its over and done so now we have to get a plan for getting out, but its nto gonna happen overnight. they are already underpowered and bringing more home will just cost lives of those who are there. what we need to do i rally for support from other countries and admit we fucked up going in but think its in everyones interest to have things organzied to leave.

i hate bush as much as the next guy but to think we are only in iraq for oil and bush wants oil prices high is being naive in my opinion. oil prices are killing our economy, and its more of the fact that he doesnt care, than he wants them high. being in iraq is much more than just oil, its jockeying for position in the middle east as well as was a pissing contest with saddam as much as it was about oil. its no coincidence we are right next door to iran now and in the middle of an area that benefits us to have strong ties to.

but i dont think anyone is arguing that bush doesnt suck (even the few on here who support him)

I am disappointed in the outcome of this election and REALLY worried about the future of our country. If it is true a nation gets the government it deserves, then clearly we are a nation of hypocrites and morons.

All kidding aside, I'm really concerned that by 2008 we'll be in the grip of an economic depression - not recession, depression - and be without an ally anywhere in the world. The poor will get poorer, the rich will get richer, the middle class will cease to exist, and "W" will fiddle while America burns. I hope that's ALL that happens; WW3 is a distinct possibility with this guy in charge. And I ain't talking about the WCW ppv event.

At least this time Bush appears to have actually WON the election, rather than having his brother and the Supreme Court steal it for him. Of course since that means that the majority of Americans genuinely *want* Bush as their president, in some ways this is even more worrisome.

thats what im saying. but there needs to be some plan to start making things right and getting them home, as you said. not to mention making things right and admitting we fucked up was what kerry was talking about doing, i doubt that cowboy gwb will do any such thing, until he realizes that the american public probably wont stand for a draft for this war, and that he burned too many bridges already to get help easily. even the countries that were already with us have lightened their involvement or just withdrawn completely. we dont need more of this, and my major point was, i dont have to support that moron, but i will support the soldiers, hell i am part of taking care of them mon-fri. not to mention, when the troops do start coming home. bush needs to give a substantial amount of money to the VA. he talks about his 4million dollars he added to the VA hospitals..guess what...there are over 350 hospitals. i think he bought the staff of the VA a pack of 30cent gum each with that "help". there are going to be A TON of troops coming back with major major mental issues, not to mention the obvious physical problems. you cant run around hiding and worrying every second if that person over there, or that baby left at the front gate of your camp, or whatever have you is a bomb, or worse, and not be mentally impacted.
where are these soldiers going to get help, when the government that sent them somewhere needlessly wont help care for them when they need it?

Personally I can't beleive that oil and oil prices have nothing to do with it. However Skip you are 100% correct that it is too late to simply pull out of Iraq. We shouldn't hve gone in there in the 1st place, but we did and now we have to deal with the consequences in a responsible manner.
