Never one to be eccentric, the Ultimate Warrior made headlines in April of 2005 when he nearly incited a riot at a speaking engagement at The University of Connecticut. While speaking to the Uconn students denouncing left wing politics, Warrior became enraged by students who expressed disagreement with his offensive statements. Students became highly offended when Warrior attacked the holiday of kwanzaa, homosexuality and a student of middle eastern decent. The speech graduated into a no holds barred steel cage match between Warrior and students when Warrior continuing to provoke the students, at which point police were called upon to settle the uneasy crowd. After a peaceful ending the committee who invited warrior to the campus apologized for the incident, while Warrior threatened legal action against a website who published the video of the incident, but charges were never filed. Now that's sports entertainment.
