Kurt Angle claims it will only take one month for the new TNA video game to overtake Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. He ripped on the WWE game saying it had a "lack of effort and lack of ideas." He said it looks like all the other games form the past and how the TNA game is so much more authentic. He said he believes in the long run the new game will outsell the WWE game. Fantasy Island wasn't canceled I guess.

The TNA Game looks amazing, if long as the gameplay is as solid as they are claiming it is, there is no doubt that it will own 2008. The early character models i saw were amazing. Cant wait to pay this game.

Yeah except each one seems to get progreesively worse as they give up good features to put in shitty ones. Remember how awesome Here Comes the Pain was? Then they took out the great cAW module and all the pre-set movesets to put in voiceovers and Divas bullshit. And just when a game looks like it may be good ('08) they completely fuck up the game controls on it. I played my copy twice so far and then tossed it aside. Thank god it was a gift; if I had paid for that shit I'd be pissed.

This is a game I've been waiting for. I skipped SD vs RAW 08 because I'm waiting for TNA. Sure there won't be as many guys to choose from, but hopefully they make up with that with an awesome CAW mode... and PLEASE tell me they put in some better generic entrance music than WWE. THQ really lacks in the quality custom themes. Hopefully TNA will give us some good music to select other than the music already in the game. Also a move list with the cool moves that WWE keeps removing from their games.
I liked when WWE had preset move lists that covered all the big names between the US, Canada, Japan and even Mexico. Now they just suck.
I really hope the TNA game sells well. They have the potential for a great game.
