wow, you really do live on here. get some sleep good sir, the board can live without ya for a while.
and dredging up the hogan issue, as you mentioned it first anyways. I was and still am of the opinion that in the whole scheme of the wrestling universe, with the exception of his last three days, benoit was nothing but a blessing to the business, while hogan was a cancer, so if something had to be cut....
Agree or disagree, thats your prerogative. I'll be me, you'll be you. And i think we are both happy the roles are'nt reversed. I couldn't stand to be as much as a constant pain in the ass as you for very long. Just as I'm sure theres something about me you couldn't stand. |

He's telling you we run South of the average IQ score up our way. What the fuck else COULD it mean? What, with our square dancing, love of maple syrup, hootinanies, cousin kissing, moonshine stills, bib overall jeans, highest per capita subscription rate to "Guns and Ammo" and the NH official state sport being a rousing game of "pull my finger"...how could he be wrong?
Sanyo is my preferred stereotype...what's yours?
I live in Mass, but seeing as I promote 80 percent of my shows in the Northern area of New England and prefer it that way, I take as much offense to it as you. |

Mr Kalasnik. Why Why whyyyy? I know you love NY/ NJ but there are many cool people from up north, such as Mr Nox, his lovely wife, JD, and a host of others. Hey, don't be cocky, just because you give a bell a little ting ting w a wrench.. |

| I think part of the problem with a large number of message boards is that the people who are around the longest don't like their world being interrupted by someone who wont conform to their opinions. It actually gets really obnoxious the elitist attitude some people get around here. It's one thing if Mav or anyone else who has actually legit worked in the business want to put their foot down on an opinion. They would know better as they have actually been around the block. But people like enforcer can't stand to have their idea's contradicted. In the case of flairfanatic, (who i think comes off as a snob the worst in this thread) just because you take pictures for a few indi companies, it doesn't make you a part of the business. |
I just wrote a pm to someone on this board today about opinions, both expressing and debating them. As I said in this PM...I'm wrong at the same percentage (if not more) as everybody else on here. I also do see a dissenting arguement that causes me to reexamine my position on things from time to time. When it comes to wrestling, I am going to be a little more stoic in my beliefs...but even those can waiver.
I do have a problem with people thinking that all sorts of people who "shouldn't" be on this board are being allowed on. Frankly...who is anyone to make that judgement? I wasn't required to take a litmus test of any sort, nor was a certain geographical location listed as a prerequisite when I joined. While we can all agree that there are some real dumb asses floating around out there, but that's life. Plus...where exactly do you want to draw the line? Who gets to decide what that line is?
Deal with it, and just be glad you aren't being interviewed by them for a job. |

As I am the only consistant poster from Maine, the northern most state in new england, I can only take this as a personnel shot at me.
I can't fathom as to how you feel posters on this board from Northern New England are some how "bring the board down". The statement obviously imply's that.
You use the wrestling vernacular like gimmick, worker, and mark in your posts in an attempt to sound as though you "belong" in the business. Yet time and time again you show that you have practically no knowledge of wrestling history based on the questions you ask about WWE 24/7.
Someone else stated that you come off like a snob...I agree with that as well..."I don't spend my money on gimmicks"....."it's a great show for a mark like you"... and of course the above quote.
I'm not here to make personnel attacks at others...I'm here to talk about wrestling and other varies topics, and laugh hysterically at most of MAV's posts. I some times wish I could speak as eloquantly as he does.
However, I would never imply who can and can't post on this board, or what someones opinion should be. If we all agreed about everything, there would be no reason to post on this board other than to promot shows.
Of course opinions are like assholes...everyone has one. |

There are country clubs in this country currently being sued for expousing the theory they have the right to keep certain groups of people out.
Just saying. |

I bet you'd love Rachael Ray to stir your pot. Sorry, I just think this thread needed to be lightened up a bit. |
NO it didn't. I just think Kaz . least I hope, was joking around. Ya see, as much fun as this board can be, it also stirs up hard feelings, even if enforcer always says "don't take the internet so seriously". |

I LOVE how all you guys thought i was talking about the current posters on here from Maine, NH or VT. I find it hilarious you guys took personal offense to it.
I meant... a lot of these people who post arent the sharpest knifes in the drawer, not the brightest crayons in the box, and are missing a few screws. If ANYONES been to some of the wrestling shows in northern new england, esp old TSW shows, EWA and such, you know these fans fit the mold of what i was referring to. These are the same people that think wrestling is real and cry when there favorite dosent win, or try and attack a wrestler, or the same people who think john cena and the undertaker are coming to FRW, or that DC Dillenger is kanyon at NECW. The same fans that wont shut up about the WWE at a indy show.... these are the people i was referring to, that are coming on here, and acting like a dumbass.
...and people tell ME i need to get thicker skin, yikes! |

I went to several shows in RI and Connecticut when I was a kid, and for a few years there was this meat stick who used to show up as a Jim "the Anvil" Niedhart impersonator. Plus...Connecticut boasts Snake Brody, does it not?
I ain't never seen that in good ol' Cow Hampshire. Contest over. |
