This coming Saturday Night, April 12th Northeast Championship Wrestling celebrates its eleven year anniversary with REUNION-- A special benefit for The American Cancer Society and Relay For Life.

Returning to the Pomfret Preparatory School in Pomfret, Connecticut this show will be opened to not only the students of Pomfret Prep but to the general public as well, a huge privilege considering it is a private campus and NCW is very grateful to Headmaster Hastings as well as Relay For Life for the opportunity to return to Pomfret.

As a special treat to the fans, general admission is only $5 for this event and if you have a Student ID to ANY High School or College, admission is only $3!

The 11 Year REUNION will be headlined with not one Heavyweight Championship Match, but TWO when Davey Loomis uses his Big City Rumble Title win to face the NCW Champion in Pomfret.

Earlier in the night Doug Summers will defend the NCW Title against perennial thorn and nagger Tim Kilgore, who has been petitioning for a Title rematch months after losing to Summers at the ICCW Tribute Show. Despite losing the Big City Rumble, Kilgore has been adamant in one final opportunity, which NCW officials have agreed upon barring any further Title opportunities if he loses. Loomis will then challenge the winner of Kilgore/Summers, but he won't be coming into the match fresh, since in the spirit of competition and the interest of fairness Davey will be competing against the man who put him out of action for nearly 10 months-- "Textbook" Dean Porteau.

Jon Thornhill is coming off the happiest time of his life after getting married last weekend, but is the honeymoon already over for Thornhill when he meets "The Showoff" Mike Paiva in their final encounter, a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match, at REUNION? Paiva stole a win from Thornhill March 22nd at The Big City Rumble after Sid Reeves brutalized Thornhill during Total Elimination. What does the conniving former NCW President have up his sleeve for Thornhill this Saturday?

Cenobite walked out of The Big City Rumble New England Champion in a shocker over Evan "Hawkeye" Hunter, but left The Rumble with even more enemies than ever after a vicious showing in The Rumble Match itself. One man in particular is Richard Pacifico, who was knocked out cold with Cenobite's chain after Pacifico earned a upset elimination over the new champ. This is Pacifico's first NCW title opportunity in nine years, can the working mans wrestler win gold one more time?

It will be the 3rd NCW Tag Team Title Invitational at REUNION, as the New State Posse of Maine-- Scotty Vegas and Johnny Primer (subbing for the suspended Alex Chamberlin), defend the belts against three formidable teams.

Be sure to join us Saturday night April 12th as we celebrate all the blood, sweat, tears, and inside jokes with NCW-- And if not just punch Dan Tanaka in the ribs. Just kidding. Maybe...

Ruy Batello wouldn't sell his ribs even if a gun was pointed to his head.

No selling prick.

A subway sandwich however, that's another story.

Triplelicious sniffs... "Daaaaaammmmnnn"

Soon thereafter Our beloved Granny Loomis begins chanting "Fudgy".

That story will ALWAYS bring a smile to my face (that and TJ Wyld's stories from Chuck E. Cheese).

Ruy please forgive, but these are classic moments in wrestling/fry eating history.

I am also pretty sure that this is the picture from the rematch between Batello and KENNY! after the youngest Phoenix matched "The Portuguese Sensation" fry for fry.

A Must Miss INDEED good sir!

The positively positive Subliminal Chaos will be glad to know that NCW's Eleven Year REUNION went off without a hitch (except for that inside jokey bad wrestling hitch) this past Saturday night in Pomfret, Connecticut.

NCW and The Relay For Life helped raise $700 for the school, and over 100 fans from the school and general public poured out in support of the good cause.

Here's the Rundown...

Anthony Stone & Eric Dylan d. Da' Underground Rydaz w/ Paulie Ruthless in tag team action.

In a Sudden Death 3 Way Dance the self proclaimed Connecticut Champion Mr. MTE d. Shya Shabo & "The Articulate Anglo-Saxon" Ken Banks when MTE stole the pinfall after Banks finished off Shabo.

NCW New England Champion Cenobite d. Pacifico to retain his Championship.

"Textbook" Dean Porteau d. Davey Loomis by Disqualification, when Loomis wrapped a figure four leg lock around the ring post. After refusing to release the hold, the Pomfret native was DQ'ed. Throughout the match Loomis became more aggressive against Dean, turning the crowd against him. Despite the outcome, Loomis still had his NCW Heavyweight Title Match later in the night.

NCW Heavyweight Champion Doug Summers d. Tim Kilgore by countout to retain the NCW Championship, in the first of 2 Title defenses. Earlier in the match Kilgore's brother MTE brought out Doug Summers' birthday cake (it was Doug's birthday celebration earlier during intermission) and ended up with a face full of cake, leaving the ringside covered in delicious frosting. After a competitive back and forth, Summers tripped up Kilgore while Tim was on the outside apron and brought Kilgore crashing down to the ground while his had whacked the apron. Unable to make the 10 count, Summers retained the belt.

In the NCW Tag Team Title Invitational featuring The Winter Hill Gang, Simultensity, Mike Volpe & "The Kreeper" Brandon Webb (w/ Taeler), & The Maine State Posse the reigning Tag Team Champions were eliminated first when Rob "The Giant" Aruajo finally pinned rival Scotty Vegas, guaranteeing new Champions. The next team out was "The Giant" & Nick Westgate, when The Winter Hill Gang violently eliminated the high flying duo. While Clip O'Reilly on the outside stalking Taeler, Volpe was able to come in with a sick superkick on Sid Reeves, allowing partner Brandon Webb to hit a picture perfect moonsault for the win and the Tag Team Titles.

In their final encounter, Jon Thornhill d. "The Showoff" Mike Paiva 2 falls to one. During the course of the first fall, a frustrated Paiva brought in a chair smashing Thornhill over the skull for a DQ. Knowing exactly what he was doing Paiva quickly covered the laid out Thornhill, winning his own fall. As Paiva played to the crowd, he walked right back into a small package, as Thornhill once again outsmarted the veteran Paiva.

In the Main Event, Doug Summers d. Davey Loomis when "Textbook" Dean Porteau returned to the ring, distracting Loomis long enough for Summers to schoolboy Davey to victory. Throughout the match Davey was as vicious as ever, brutalizing Doug with an array of suplexes and submissions unlike ever before. Following the contest Loomis flipped out on his friend, smashing him with a "kryptonite crunch" and mauling the NCW Champion. The entire roster poured out to break things up, as people tried to calm Davey down.

NCW will be back in Willimantic, Connecticut on Saturday night June 21st with a benefit for Windham Youth Football & Cheerleading!
