read his book if you get the chance. Regal was one of the biggest pill poppers ever.

Regal had a MASSIVE addiction to GHB in the past. It nearly destroyed his career, his family and his life. It's kind of hard to find, but it's well documented in his book "Walking a (the?) Golden Mile". Damn good book...right up there with Foley's and Dynamite's in my opinion.

The parts chronicling his addiction (which goes on for YEARS) is quite frightening. If memory serves me right, at one point he describes basicly being so stoned out of his mind that he didn't even leave his bedroom for days or even weeks on end.

I hope he hasn't gone down that path again.

wow really? I never got a chance to read his book but I would love to get a copy. I want Bishoffs book as well. They both look great. Jeff and Matts book was good and same with Ric Flair. but that's beside the point.

I hope not too Mav. What I will find interesting is how he is "welcomed back" after 60 days. Jeff Hardy was welcomed back like the prodigal son. They may has well have killed the fatted calf, etc. for him, and had a huge party....

It needs to work both ways.

That said, hopefully Regal isn't really falling into that deep abyss again.

sched. Subject to changes/additions
(These are likely ones for now)

10-26 Kowalski Memorial Malden MA
11-1 Toxic Waltz Quincy MA
11-16 Chikara Wallingford CT

Jeff is and has been my favorite for a long time, waaaayyyyy before he became a mainevent kind of wrestler. But I don't like how he is welcomed back so easily and how he is already getting a little push.

With that I agree with Ghost, I hope Regal doesn't get lost in his "demons" Evil or Very Mad

DAMN - that explains the sudden dropping of a great storyline with Regal the crazed GM. That SUCKS! I wish him the best. Another case of being given the ball to run with and fumbling it. SUCKS!

Well, regal has been looking pretty decent, shape wise so, maybe its roids again?

Its a shame, as they really were doing well with the regal stuff on RAW, but, it gives Theodore Long something to do. Seems like they knew since last Tuesday.

Because prior to this Regal has been on the back burner for a long time. And they gave him the spotlight and this happens. Plenty of clean guys, I'm sure, who would have loved this chance. Now, I like Regal alot. LOVE his character - especially this new crazed GM. And in real life, one of the nicest WWE guys I met. I do have a lot of compassion for these guys especially when it comes to painkilling drugs. I'm not sure what kind of drug was involved this time. Anyway, I do have a low tolerance for recreational street drugs. Period. If that makes me holier than thou, well so be it. I don't mean to come across that way, I just don't do them, they are illegal...well you get the picture.

That's good. I hope he gets well and stays clean. He's a really cool guy and an entertaining character as well as good wrestler. A bright spot on Raw in recent weeks. This does explain alot.

Regals book was spectacular!!! I also loved Flair's and Dynamite Kids.

Eric Bischoff's book was alright, there's a lot of, "I don't remember that happening" or "I don't remember saying that" when talking about his days running WCW.

The worst books are DDP's & Dusty Rhode's.

Flair's book is in kayfaybe a little too much though. Bischoff's book was great for what it was. Worst book ever Shawn Michaels completely full of himself and still won't admit the drugs and power trip was why he was disliked backstage. He says everyone was just jealous of him. Best books I've read Piper's and Freddy Blassies. WWE's Are We There Yet was also good if you like hearing stories from the road about ribs and other cool stuff.
