Just came back from my yearly pilgrimage to Pennsylvania for ROSFest. And, as usual, I spent OMG on CDs and DVDs.

I do this once a year, so I'm entitled. Shut up. Razz

Anyhow, I've got some really great stuff here - much of it just to complete some odds and ends that I was missing, but I usually will grab new things on a complete whim just to see if I strike gold and find something new and awesome.

Anyhow, here's the list. Any questions about these bands, I'll be happy to help best I can.

CDs:
Andromeda - II=I (Awesome Prog-metal band.)
Amplifier - Insider (I recall downloading this some time ago and liking it, but for the life of me I cannot remember what it sounds like.)
Collage - Changes (A great Neo-prog band. No idea if this album is in English or Polish.)
Collage - Moonshine
Continuum - 2 (An electronic Steven Wilson project of sorts.)
Dark Suns - Grave Human Genuine (Kinda heavy, listened to it very briefly on the way home.)
Deadsoul Tribe - A Lullaby For The Devil (I'm a HUGE DST fan, been waiting to pick this up. Great prog-metal, but with a solid Jethro Tull vibe to 'em.)
Demians - Building an Empire (Bought this on a whim - lots of Porcupine Tree influence, though mostly a bit calmer.)
Djam Karet - Live at NEARfest 2001 (Awesome instrumental prog jam band. Can't wait to hear this.)
Dominici - O3 A Trilogy, Part 3 (Dream Theater's former vocalist in his followup to last year's incredible O3 Part 2. Can't wait to hear this.)
Eloy - Colours (Great German band from the late 70s through the 80s.)
Eloy - Time to Turn
Galahad - Following Ghosts (Saw these guys at this show last year - even hung out with them! Great neo-prog band, just completing the collection here.)
Galahad - Nothing is Written
Galahad - Sleepers
Grey Lady Down - The Time of Our Lives (Highly recommended, but I've never actually heard them.)
Holding Pattern - Breaking the Silence (Instrumental prog with some serious chops.)
Indukti - S.U.S.A.R. (Pretty chill and laid back. Vocalist from Riverside guests.)
Karmakanic - Wheel of Life (True Story, I introduced this band two years ago. Great band, friendly guys too. Looking forward to hearing this disc. They do have a tendency to get kinda flowery for my tastes, though.)
Karda Estra - The Last of the Libertine (They've been highly recommended to me, but I know nothing about them.)
Mr. Gil - Alone (Guitarist from Collage in a solo effort.)
Peter Pan - Days (Good solid prog, great guitar work if I recall correctly.)
The Pineapple Thief - What We Have Sown (I've had this since it leaked on the net, now I've got the real thing. I love this band. Porcupine Tree meets Radiohead meets Smashing Pumpkins. This album is now out of print.)
Planet X - Quantum (Derek Sherinian of Dream Theater fame with another prog/jazz fusion album. Should be awesome, like all the others.)
Prisma - Collusion (Heavy Tool influence, highly recommended.)
RPWL - God Has Failed (One of my favorite bands ever, these guys performed this weekend. So awesome. Pink Floyd fans need to hear these guys. This is their first album. It's entirely possible I already have a copy of this. Embarassed )
RPWL - The RPWL Experience (Newest album.)
Satellite - Into The Night (Another Polish Neo-prog band. The drummer is from Collage. Saw these guys two years ago at this festival, awesome show.)
Sensitive to Light - From The Ancient World (No idea.)
Sylvan - Posthumous Silence (Good band, finally getting around to grabbing some of their discs)
Sylvan - Presets
Chris Squire - Fish Out Of Water (Bassist from Yes in a solo album. Stellar lineup of musicians, this should be nothing short of fantastic.)
Stream Of Passion - Live in the Real World (Another Arjen Lucassen project. Good stuff.)
Tiles - Fly Paper (They sound like Rush, and they're fucking awesome. Alex Lifeson actually guests on this album.)
Damian Wilson - Let's Start a Commune (Threshold's on-again/off-again singer. Heard a few tracks in the car, kinda disappointed.)

DVDs
Anathema - A Moment in Time (One of my favorites ever. This will be awesome. Comes with an audio CD too.)
Anathema - A Vision of a Dying Embrace (No audio CD here. Sad )
Blackfield - Live in NYC (I was supposed to be at this show, and we had a fucking blizzard the same day. Evil or Very Mad )
David Gilmour - In Concert (Bootleg of Pink Floyd's guitarist solo. As long as the quality is good, this will be fantastic.)

So... yeah. I ain't buying shit for a while. Mr. Green
