Xplosion:

*Robert Roode defeated Curry Man with the payoff.

Impact:

*Faces and Heels come out from their respective sides and then Samoa Joe's music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He says he knows they wonder why he called an open house but its to let them all know they have an opportunity of a lifetime. He announces the main event of the 6/8 Slammiversary PPV will be the King of the Mountain match. Joe says that there will be eight competitors total including himself - Jim Cornette has told him he will pick four challengers and Joe will get to pick the rest. Cornette has picked Robert Roode, Matt Morgan, James Storm and Tomko. Joe says he will name the other challengers next week cause he wants to do some scouting this week. Out from the heel ramp, Booker T comes out since he wasn't out on either side and demands to know why wasn't picked and tells Joe that if Joe doesn't pick him, there will be serious consequences. Booker slaps Joe and they brawl. Christian Cage and Rhino hit the ring. Booker challenges them to a match later tonight and says he'll find partners. Booker did a good job in my opinion with the heel promo.

*Kaz & Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt defeated Johnny Devine & The Rock N' Rave Infection. After the match, Lethal asks So Cal Val to marry him at Slammiversary and she accepts with a "Oh yeah". Very similar to the Macho/Liz angle. Sonjay didn't look happy and had some great facial expressions here. Kaz would try to tell him to congratulate them and he just kept his distance and showed some fake happiness.

*TNA Knockouts champion Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim with the help of Angelina Love. Most of the heels and face knockouts made their way to ringside during the match. They all started arguing on the outside and Gail went to the top but Angelina Love shoved her off causing her to hurt her ankle. Kong picked her up and nailed the awesomebomb for the pin. Gail sold the leg after the match.

*Kurt Angle came out and said he asked for airtime to read a letter to Karen asking to take him back cause she needs him. He says that she needs to get her prioritys straight and makes a list of things that come before her. 1. TNA Title, 2. His gold medal, 3. The Kids, and 4 was her. He says he hopes she comes to the impact zone next week so they can leave together.

*TNA Tag Team champions LAX defeated The Motor City Machineguns in a non-title bout. They used the gringo cutter off of Hernandez's shoulder for the pin. Hector Guerrero and Salinas were both at ringside.

*Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, now given the team name "The Beautiful People" defeated ODB and Roxxi. Odb took the pin. You can see Roxxi did have a cut on her head from the PPV.

-Booker T and Team 3D did a promo backstage and there was a few teases of the King Booker gimmick such as Booker saying he was going to go back on his throne and Devon saying working with Royalty.

-Christian and Rhino did a promo backstage where Christian ripped into Booker saying he has wrestled him all over the world and he has said it all along that Booker was no good and didn't respect him. He called Booker a piece of s***.

*TNA champ Samoa Joe & Christian Cage & Rhino defeated Team 3D & Booker T when Samoa Joe pinned Devon after a powerslam. There was some brawling all over the place and Brother Ray got in Hector's face while he brawled by the spanish announce table. After the match, 3D attacked and bloodied Hector Guerrero as Booker held off Joe and the others with a chair until Joe chased them away with a chair of his own and checked on Hector.

so Booker is a heel now? I really cant think of anything thatll make him interesting.

Each to their own opinions, but damn TNA booking makes my head hurt.

i just fast forward through impact with a mouth full of cookies stopping when the women are on or a match that seems like it might be ok.
