Putting Piper aside (to be objective since he is the biggest name so far and is still fresh in people’s minds), who hires the better ‘big name talent’?

BTW

Or

NEW

This has nothing to do with how the show is run, the under card, your opinion of the promoter, turnout, etc. Simply – name for name – which one hires the better ‘big name talent’?

I don't really care for big names when they are incapable of putting on a good match. Piper, coach, sid all great names, but none would really bring me to a show. I think I'd pay for Roddy Piper standup comedy before a wrestling show.

Scott Steiner
Kurt Angle
Booker T

Even if u consider AJ and Samoa Joe as having "been all over" I think the three above are pretty big names.

9-7 North Haven fair w Big Shot
9-12 FRW Leominster Mass
9-20 GG's return to NECW
10-4 PGW ( I miss you Mom..)
10-12 Way Wrestling was double show/dinner
10-17-19..tbd Papa Gray'???? I hope so.
10-25 KCW tbd
10-26 Kowalski Memorial Malden tbd

at my first northeast wrestling show, i saw something i'd never see outside of the wwe:

joey mercury
christian cage
kurt angle

and in the shows following:
sid viscious
roddy piper
booker t
scott steiner
and chris jericho

northeast gets my vote hands down.

~*Rachel*~

wicked justice:

9.5: Jeff Dunham in B-Port
9.6: TNA house show in NYC with CHRISTIAN!
9.27: Northeast Wrestling in PA
10.4: PGW in Bridgeport
10.26: Killer Kowalski Memorial Show in MA(TBA)

I voted for NEW as well. May be unfair since I've never been to a BTW show - all I know is what I see on here. I've met Samoa Joe, Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, Christian, Abyss, Chris Sabin, Kevin Nash and I know I'm forgetting some - all at an NEW show. And thouogh the lines may be a bit long, it's well worth the wait. And the poloriods are dirt cheap too - $10. NEW is a great promotion.

Not all the polaroids are ten bucks. Booker T and Piper were 20. That said tho, NEW may not be the best "pure wrestling" promotion, but its the best for what it presents, names, and local talent, catering to the casual fans mainly.

Northeast Wrestling wins this hands down!

People may like them or not, no one delivers more big names!

I think over the past 2 years BTW has brought in a more diverse and interesting list of stars:

Dusty Rhodes
Too Cold Scorpio
Sycho Sid
DDP
Christian Cage
Kamala
Tatanka
A.J. Styles
King Kong Bundy
Kevin Sullivan
Samoa Joe
Christopher Daniels
Jerry Lawler
Brian Knobs
The Sandman
Steve Corino
Greg Valentine
The Dudleys
Abyss
Traci Brooks
LuFisto

At one point or another, Northeast Wrestling has used the above guys which I left on your list. Add Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Ron Simmons, Chris Candido and Chris Jericho to the list and it's not even close. Angle has become a regular for them as well, not a one shot deal!

That would be Powerhouse. They also brought in Ricky Morton.

Is the tie breaker a matter of who the first one to book Brodie Lee v Max Bauer is?

That could do it.
