Leaving out ROH and NEW, as they IMO don't really qualify for what I consider an "Indy" what is everyones favorite of all time, if u could pick only one?

For me, I think itd be PWF NE, especially in the pre merger days w NECW. It just seemed to me that they had it right, talent, storylines, and it just kept me interested in going month after month, especially to the classic shows in the school in N Providence RI. Plus, I met a couple friends in wrestling at their shows too. Except for the teaming of Sandman and Jason Blade to win the tag belts once, I always enjoyed their direction and matches.

Favorite non wrestling moments: Meeting Steamboat and Race

Best wrestling moments: Daniels vs Blade and also, Sains vile chairshot, snapping the chairback over Blade, (which I still have..haha) at the school. Others include Mamaluke/Mikaze and the Dogs of War no DQ vs Canadiens (some of those may have been post merger)

Most infamous : The "Shackles" match. Umm..how did that go again? Rolling Eyes Wink

11-21UConn NCAA soccer vs Fairfield
11-22 Uconn Hockey vs RIT
11-24 WWE Raw
12-5 PGW
12-6 NEW
12-13 ECCW Sourbridge tbd
1-3-09 GHTBL Awards dinner. Bolton, CT.
1-10 FRW womens doubleheader show (tbd)
1-11/12 JACK IS BACK season seven.
1-16-09 EWA Palmer
1-31 Big Shot Mohegan Sun

How far back can we go? There were some great ones in the early 90's -mid 90's that were great too. A lot of hot shows running out of MA back then in Fall River, New Bedford, Springfield and right in Boston.

My favorite to work on would be WFA easily. Between the road trips with friends, to the big houses to the fun I had on shows to Steve & Alex & Sheldon filling me with confidence that no other promoter has ever done.

WFA was wrestling magic I haven't found before or after that time period in life. That's not to say I haven't worked in other great places, but that's what I'm most proud of.

In the years prior-When growing up, didn't have many "Indy" shows that frequented the area. Had local wrestling shows that were for some charity of some kind. So at the time, I had no idea who was really running the shows because the programs had local merchants and etc.

But Killer Kowalski's thing made more visits in the area growing up so I'd go w/ whatever that was at the time.

So far I had the most fun at Bobby Cruise's UWF. As for my favorite Indy I'm still looking and I hope to never stop looking.

hmmmm
UWF was nice - got to see a lot of NAMES before they were NAMES
EWA in maine was great fun
PCW was just insane

But my fav is probably WFA - they came closest to the "ECW formula" of something for everyone. Now before the flame-monsters start - I am not saying WFA is ECW - not even close - what i am saying, is that WFA came the closest to having someing for everyone on every show. You got blood, good tech stuff, good booking (most of the time) and nice hoochies.

Ha! Sanity, what would I do with something as useless as that? Good thing I never had use for such a thing. "Zaraki Kenpatchi"

Hands down for me it's NECW. They made local guys into stars. They had some great international talent over the years like Doug Williams, Sumie Sakai, Jonny Storm, Jody Fleisch, Fergal Devitt. They had stars before they became famous like John Cena, Frankie Kazarian and Beth Phoenix.

I've seen so many great matches there. Alex Arion winning the title from Bob Evans. Maverick and Doug Williams. I remember one night they had Williams, Storm, Fleisch and Sakai on the same card. Eddie Edwards and Bobby Fish had a couple of fantastic matches there. The NWA match they had last summer with Fergal Devitt and the Australian guy was awesome too.

Their regular roster is second to none and they do the women's shows too.

For a company that never used names to draw, no one matches them.

Well, I haven't been to nearly as many promotions as you guys. I have to say I like them all - NEW, DPW, PGW, DPW, EPW, Chikara and last but certainly not least, in fact, probably my favorite - the old CCW. Not old old CCW but not the Roma era either. I have a lot of bitter sweet memories of 2003/2004 shows. Many where PGW runs now - the KOC in Fairifield. CCW's Revolution in June 2004 and Aftermath in I think it was November 2004 after they took the summer off. Those shows were fun. And I have some great memories of my early days of getting into indy wrestling. Made alot of friends - with fellow fans and wrestlers. I guess that's one of the reasons. Just a lot of fun - plain and simple. Good, honest, family fun with some great matches. I think now, PGW is what comes closest to CCW - thus being my favorite current promotion. Although I like DPW and NEW alot too. Chikara is - well Chikara and in a class by itself. So my answer, short and simple - CCW between 9/03 and 4/05.

I have a lot of respect for the legacy of NECW. They do a good job. I would say that we (EPW) hold our own, as does Chaotic and FRW. We've all drawn good crowds with and without names.

EWA was able to do the same once they started running the Stevens Ave Armory in Portland on a regular basis. Drawing a respectable crowd.

I had quite a few shows on tape and enjoyed re-watching them from time to time. However, my recent flooded basement ruined all but 1. It's on that tape you have your classic Blindfold match with Tarzan Tyler.

I have honsent with u all. All of the promotions are Great job. I got respect on NECW, EPW, TRP, Showcase pro, NLP, and more as i can tell. Promoter of those promotion are great job that they worked so hard for the great fans who made them enjoyed at any show that they showed up and watch the great matches. plus great creative, I am giving all credits on them.

but for backyard pro wrestling, that alright to see it but not for me to be fan of this shit. I dont give a shit about them because they need to wake up and where they go to. they think that backyard is cool? The answer is NO because they didnt get it as what the safety is about. who try to run the backyard, they didnt get it because they dont know how to get it successful. remember, WWE and TNA wont hire Backyard wrestler! WAKE UP!
