wow, a 2310 calorie drink. Crazy.

I've dropped some weight recently, and most of it is due to drinking water and lots of it. I think what we drink is more important than what we eat sometimes.

Exactly. Water is the most healthy beverage for people who want to lose weight to drink. Actually it's best for everyone. Too bad I don't like it - I prefer coffee - I drink at least a pot every day. Light with skim, no sugar. Don't ask me how I stay so sweet... Wink

Umm..no..its the caffeine obviously. I drink a couple cups a day too, and am not proud of it, for the negative caffeine affects. It may not have a lot of calories t he way you drink it, but its VERY bad for you.

with the special exception of a glass or two of lemonade once a week i only drink water. when i was younger i use to drink only soda and its amazing how differently it reacts with your system. with soda the sugar and crap just sits in your system where water flushes right though. that alone there proves the benefits of water right there

Anything caffinated is the elixer of the gods. 200 mg caffine is equal to 20 minutes of sleep.

Thanks MAV for helping me prove my point. I should edit your post - anything that is NON CALORIC and CAFFIENATED = NECTAR OF THE GODS!

You could have as many health issues from being jittery from Caffeine as from a few extra calories.

1) Jittery equals "vibrate your way to fitness".

2) I much prefer being intense and zoned in to lethargic and mopey; especially at the gym. How intense? I like walking around the gym looking like lasers are about to shoot out of my eyes and stalk about so people avert their gaze and not talk to me. I'm there to work out...I want to talk, I'll come here or call someone. I don't rest between sets either. I want to rest...I'll stay at home in bed.

3) Holly needs more than a few extra calories, judging from the veggie thread.

I didn't consider these threads a competition.

I have always considered water like breathing air. Its not done for pleasure, just to satisfy a body's thirst. You must be different, and that's very much ok.

LOL at 2, MAV that's how I am at the deli lol. I'm sorry but I'm not excessively chatty with the customers. I 'll cut the meat and then move them along. Don't care about their other stuff. And #3, what are you suggesting?

Haha. I LOVE Water too. I never felt it was boring, or tasteless..

They have that low calorie or no calorie Fruit H2O and stuff, but give me good old regular water, and Im set.

Plus, tho I doint drink as much at work, we have a water cooler, w bottled water, so when I do drink it, I get cold refreshing water.

And Mav, maybe you and Holly should talk on AIM, or the phone about this. Seems like somethign we all don't need to read, and kind of a personal issue.

Um, that's a mighty heavy, no pun intended, accusation to make. Not to mention a really personal issue. Embarassed

Perhaps...but you threw out what you're taking in for calories kiddo. Other people may rag on you for fun...hell, I may even do it once in a while to have a little fun at your expense..but you're screwing around with your health.
