Just wondering if anyone has been to their shows. I see there is one today. Just wondering if you liked it, opinions on it, etc. Also average cost of a ticket too.

They do all fundraisers, and the price of a ticket is usually low. They are normally entertaining shows.

I worked for PLW last year on a benefit show for Paul Lauzon's niece. Had fun, great locker room and good show overall.

Oh, God. Not this again.

Poppa. I gave an opinion and you didn't like it, so you call ME names? It seems you have a beef with everyone on this board, but again, you're too much of a coward to put your name out there. So again, no credibility at all.

Power League runs fun shows and they don't charge a lot of money. Are they Wrestlemania quality? No. But Tommy, Mark, and the boys do a good job. What's wrong with me saying that? Do I have to have an agenda or a stake in something to compliment it?

Actually, Power League was my backyard "Fed" that Mark Amaral and I started back in 1991 before I started training as a pro.

They've come a long way, and I'll never badmouth the good they've done for a lot of people. They've raised thousands for charity and never step on anyone's toes. Tommy D and Mark are class guys and I have nothing but respect for them. They have good hearts and do a good thing.

I attended yesterday's PLW event in Pawtucket and I enjoyed the show very much. I second Bob's and Indymark's earlier comments saying Tommy D. and the gang at PLW put on fun, quality shows, while raising money for various charities. Yesterday, they were doing a benefit show for the Nathaniel Green Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization. I believe they have done shows there before. Everyone seemed to have a good time and that's what matters, while raising money for the school.
