I used to watch them all the time. Now, I find myself watching some of it, because it seems like the same old rehased stuff, w horrid booking, etc. I really have a hard time making it through a whole show, and if theres a game on or something, I often skip it, or maybe watch 24-7 WWE instead, if I must have a wrestling fix.

9-7 North Haven fair w Big Shot
9-12 FRW Leominster Mass
9-20 GG's return to NECW
10-4 PGW ( I miss you Mom..)
10-12 Way Wrestling was double show/dinner
10-17-19..tbd Papa Gray'???? I hope so.
10-25 KCW tbd
10-26 Kowalski Memorial Malden tbd

Interesting, I don't know, I like the show but Ghost you're right about the same old same old. They always have a bunch of people beat up someone in the main event. IMO WWE is kind of the same with the "seen it before" gimmicks ex: jeff vs. umaga, hhh vs. rko, etc.

I stopped watching a long time ago. I would only start again if they went back to the style of the Wednesday night PPV's... I miss the true X Division of AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Low-ki, The Flying Elvis, Jason Cross, and the rest of the guys who only showed up for 2 weeks and left

Keep looking forward cause something is about to happen and you are gonna wanna know

I caught some of it this week for the first time in like a year and what I saw was decent with Cornette and the Awesome Kong match. Other than that it's stupid. WTF is with Eric Young trying to find Elvis?

Good poll. I am struggling to stay interested in TNA. They have some good points - I LOVE their X-division but the unfortunate thing is they are so grossly underutilized. Motor City Machine Gunns are my fav tag team and they really are lost in the shuffle. Sonjay Dutt, Frankie Kazarian, Jay Lethal, Eric Young - they could all be used better. It's not that they don't have talent, it's just mis-used IMHO. The women's division is very strong and is much better than the WWE's.

I DVR it on Saturday nights and usually fast forward/watch it.

The womens matches are the only matches I always watch. Then if I read a match was good or certain segments.

he flew away. No Raven is in bad shape though. He said on Forever Hardcore that all the bumps he took is coming back to haunt him.

at least Sharmelle is off camera. Karen Angle needs to be next. the show is just a mess. most things need more time except for the things that shouldnt be getting any time at all. they do good with the Knockouts division and the tag scene is decent.

Agreed I don't like Tomko on the mic but they say practice makes perfect. Booker and Dudleys for me is a no go as well.

1 down 1 to go as far as it goes for Sharmelle and Karen. I think they need to push the heavyweights now. I am glad to see that at least one wrestling promotion is pushing the women and tag teams.

There should be a poll option saying, "They're on a plateau, neither getting better nor getting worse."

I have "they are just doing fine" as an option. That to me would imply not doing bad or good just staying the same.

Ok but I don't see the two ("they are doing just fine" and "They're on a plateau, neither getting better nor getting worse.") as meaning the same thing. Here are the first two definitions of "fine":

1. of superior or best quality; of high or highest grade: fine wine.
2. choice, excellent, or admirable: a fine painting.

Does that describe TNA?

Edit: I closed my parethesis.

My itinerary:
Sep. 19 - Ring of Honor in Boston

True I see your point Josh. I agree with your view on the options though I don't agree with TNA. I like TNA a lot and IMO they are better than WWE. But you are right with a lot of what you said.

TNA seems to allow their wrestlers to use their arsenal of moves and their ability to work quickly. Plus, they have a great roster of talent with great ability. Now if they would just give us a more realistic product like Ring of Honor. Or maybe more like their Japanese special a few months ago, Global Impact.

Maybe lay off the writing staff and promote Jim Cornette. Allow the wrestlers to approach the director with their ideas. Many of the wrestlers are younger and more in touch with the audience and with pop culture in general. Maybe they'd have a better feel for things that people in their age group want. Would Tommy Dreamer want to jump ship and get involved creatively? Recent shoot interviews point to Tommy as being far more involved in the original ECW's creative product than most people probably know about.

WWE is so stale right now. They're not bringing in wrestlers who will surprise us or challenge us or give us something to really pay attention to. This is the time for TNA to wake up and shine. Make us think. Don't insult us.

For some reason, TNA's Knockouts segments are "must watch" situations while WWE Diva segments are less important to me. I think, for the most part, TNA's women are better wrestlers (or they're allowed to go out there and do everything). One thing I've noticed though, is TNA's women can talk. Their personalities are more believable.

Personally, I love Sharmelle as a character. I think she's one of the better actresses in all of wrestling. She's very comfortable and secure on camera. That alone can make a big difference in believability/suspending disbelief, whatever. She should definitely be on TV.

And I have to disagree again with your opinion of Karen. I think she's done an amazing job, especially when you factor in that she's never been on a wrestling TV show before (that I know of). She's a pretty girl and more of person that an average guy like me can relate to.

That being said, the Beautiful People--although really out there in a stripper-ish kind of way--are so polished. Their ring entrance is like a work of art. They've got that down. I am mesmerized by their entrance.

Sep. 19 - Ring of Honor in Boston

Josh, you make a lot of great points, not to brown nose or anything, but I agree with almost everything you say. The only thing I disagree with is Karen and Sharmelle. They are pretty good at acting but I don't like the story lines they got going for them. I really don't like the whole AJ Styles and Karen Angle thing.

Eric, I appreciate that we agree on most of this. Regarding the storylines for Karen and Sharmelle... Since the storylines aren't their fault, I think we should be vocal and send the message that we're unhappy with the storylines, not say things like "Let's pull those two from TV!"

I have watched TNA from its inception and one thing ive noticed over the years, in order for them to gain interest they have to copy the current product of WWE.

But yet they say they're an alternative to World Wrestling Entertainment. I don't see any difference other then the six sided ring, and fans that don't pay to get into the arena.

People will always give TNA an excuse on why they are not a huge company, ie: they're only 6 years old, they're not on Monday nights, they don't have the loyal viewers that WWE has, WWE has been around for over 50 years, and the list will go on.

TNA will remain what they currently are, a rehash where former WWE talent can go after they've been fired or let go by the company.

Do I wish TNA would go out of business? No, not really, but I wish they would do something with their product and learn from their mistakes and move forward. I wish they would gain my interest back in the company but when I see stuff like Black Machismo/So Cal Val reprising the role of Liz and Randy, the confusing gimmick matches TNA puts on, the story lines between AJ Styles/Karen Angle/Kurt Angle, it has all been done before. Come up with something original to put your company on the map.

The X Division, the true X Division of the Nashville days was hot, and one of the main reasons why I ordered just about every two hour pay-per-view show. I am tired of all the former WCW and WWE guys coming into the organization and not helping out, look at the guys that were something with WCW or WWE and what are they now? They're definitely not ratings draw as TNA averages from 0.8 - 1.2 each Thursday night.

The excuses need to come to a close and something needs to be done in order to move this company from a failing organization to legit competition with World Wrestling Entertainment.
