1. Tag Team Champ "The Ladies Man" Gregory Edwards beat Shane Alden.

2. Tag Team Champ "H20" Ryan Waters vs. Eric Alden ended in a double disqualification. After the match, the Alden Brothers challenged The Stroke to a Saturday afternoon grudge match.

3. Spike Dudley beat The Guy.

4. Vain beat former OVW star Johnny Punch.

5. The Kreeper beat Rocco Abruzzi.

6. Lea Morrison & "Gorgeous" Gino Giovanni beat Taeler & Interstate Champ Freight Train in an intergender tag team match.

Saturday 3:00 p.m. results:

1. Interstate Champ Freight Train beat Dickie Rodz.

2. Luscious Latasha & Lea Morrison beat Amber & Barbie in a women's tag team match.

3. The Kreeper beat former OVW star Johnny Punch.

4. Shane & Eric Alden beat Tag Team Champs The Stroke ("The Ladies Man" Gregory Edwards & "H20" Ryan Waters) in a non-title match. This match featured Eric Alden falling off the top of the TRP ring crew truck...followed by Ryan Waters hitting Eric with an elbow smash from the top of the truck.

5. Buck Nasty (with Miss Tara Leigh) beat "The Strangler" Alex Payne.

6. Spike Dudley beat "The Epic" Mike Bennett in what turned out to be a hardcore match.

Saturday 6:30 p.m. results:

1. Buck Nasty (with Miss Tara Leigh) beat Tag Team Champ "H20" Ryan Waters.

2. Amber beat Luscious Latasha.

3. Brickhouse Baker beat Tag Team Champ "The Ladies Man" Gregory Edwards. Brickhouse answered The Ladies Man's Open Challenge.

4. "The Epic" Mike Bennett & The Guy beat Big Daddy Bravo & Interstate Champ Freight Train. Bravo and Freight came to the ring riding in a golf cart. Freight Train brought a Congo Bongo drink (a Slurpee-type drink in a very tall glass that looks like a bong) with him also. Bennett said that if he and The Guy lost, he would buy everyone in the crowd a Congo Bongo drink. The crowd loved the idea, but Bennett and Guy's cheating ways prevailed.

5. Heavyweight Champ "Heavenly" Johnny Angel beat "The Strangler" Alex Payne to retain the championship.

Sunday 12:30 p.m. results:

1. Eric Alden beat Buck Nasty.

2. Interstate Champ Freight Train beat "The Ladies Man" Gregory Edwards in a pie and donut eating contest. The Ladies Man came out and said it was too hot, refused to wrestle, and was just at the Festival to get his paycheck and leave. Freight Train spoiled that idea, and challenged The Ladies Man to an eating contest. Referees Zac and Chris brought donuts and cream pies to the ring. The Ladies Man and Freight Train had five minutes to eat as much food as they could. When Freight Train was winning, The Ladies Man attacked him. However, Freight Train battled back and wound up smashing cream pies in The Ladies Man's face!

3. Brickhouse Baker beat The Guy.

4. Spike Dudley beat Dickie Rodz.

5. Taeler & The Kreeper beat Lea Morrison & "The Strangler" Alex Payne in an intergender tag team match.

6. "The Epic" Mike Bennett (with The Guy) beat Shane Alden.

Sunday 4:00 p.m. results:

1. Interstate Champ Freight Train beat Rocco Abruzzi.

2. Buck Nasty beat The Kreeper and Eric Alden in a three way dance.

3. Spike Dudley & Jason Blade beat "The Epic" Mike Bennett & The Guy. Spike came to the ring alone and said Jason got caught in traffic coming from Boston. All three agreed to a handicap match. When Mike and The Guy had the upper hand on Spike, Jason appeared from out of nowhere and joined the match.

4. Barbie beat Luscious Latasha.

5. Big Daddy Bravo, Brickhouse Baker, & Sweet Scott Ashworth beat Tag Team Champs The Stroke ("The Ladies Man" Gregory Edwards & "H20" Ryan Waters) & "The Strangler" Alex Payne. Originally, the match was announced as a tag team match. Big Daddy said he had a partner and introduced Brickhouse Baker. The Stroke and Payne wanted a 3-on-2 match. Big Daddy and Brickhouse then introduced Sweet Scott Ashworth. The crowd went nuts when Sweet's music hit. After the match, Ryan Waters showed respect for the veterans that defeated his team...and shook everyone's hand. Ryan wound up dancing with his opponents after the match!

That's a lot of wrestling for one multi-day event. Didn't make to it due to prior commitments. Anybody see any of the shows?

I've never seen so many whores in one place.

It is good to see that a lot of their top guys took my advice and stayed home, saved some money. I hope those guys are praised, but knowing how TRP operates, they'll probably be put out of commission because they didn't do a "free" show and "pay" their dues.


If you want to see a REAL wrestling show, go to ACW. Its the only real wrestling in the area.

Ok. So there's the opinion of someone that wasn't at the show. I'll just state the question again: Anybody see any of the shows?

I was there for the Sunday 4PM show. I arrived at 4:30 though. Really only saw the main event of that show, which definitely was great fun for a "carnival show" type ending. Lots of fun stuff that got the people really cheering for the veterans team.

Actually, I went to the Saturday afternoon show. I didn't go to any others. This is what I thought of that show.

Freightrain/ Dickie Rodz - Typical comedy from Freightrain. I actually hate calling it comedy because it wasn't funny. Dickie Rodz looks great, not sure where he wrestles, but decent promotions should start using him.

Luscious and Lea Morrison/ Amber and Barbie - Nothing to talk about in this one. At least Amber is hot.

The Kreeper/ Johnny Punch - Kreeper isn't bad. Dont know why he wastes his time with TRP. Never saw Punch before, but is like all other roided up muscle heads. Nothing special.

Aldens/ Stroke - Couldnt watch this one. Too many queers in the ring at once. Didnt want to catch anything.

Buck Nasty/ Alex Payne - Buck Nasty is a graduate of Spike Dudleys school. Goes to show you what kind of school they run in Fall River. Bad match.

Spike/ Mike Bennett - Yawn. Seen this a million times. I dont know who brought down who in this match. Theres a needle joke to be made here, but I'll bite my tongue.


Overall, I still can't see how TRP manages to put on shows. Desperate people will work anywhere though.
The only thing they did right is they brought in Baker and Ashworth to work the other shows. That probably got the crowd into it. Wasnt there so I cant comment on that.

Ya know, I have PM'd this guy 3-4 times with no response. I hardly ever post on here but I feel that since he wont respond to my PM's, maybe he will read this and respond via PM. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I, in no way, represent any company, nor do I have any loyalty to any one company. What I find interesting is that people who presumably work for ACW have slammed McCheese for his behavior here, and rightfully so. One would think since McCheese loves ACW so much, he would take a hint and calm down to keep his ACW friends happy. It's obvious that he hasn't gotten the hint, and probably never will. I do agree with Grayson's post about it being ridiculous that ACW is coming off a successful benefit show, and this McCheese idiot is still bad-mouthing a competing promotion, while representing ACW. McCheese is probably just another disgruntled former YPW worker/wannabee who Steve Ricard won't book anymore.

I saw on TPR's site they r coming Sun Sept 7 to South Windsor, CT bout 10-15 min from me..whoooey. IM figuring its part of the Wapping Fair. I may be able to go, always cool to see a show THAT close, esp outdoors.

To add to that i went to TRP festival shows this weekend and Stroke/Aldens match wasnt bad at all. Ryan Waters did a nice elbow off the top of the truck that i seen.

Back Nasty/Alex Payne match wasnt all that bad give credit where credit is due. Alex Payne has been around for years with about 700 gimmicks. Buck Nasty i cant vouch for too much he did lose alot of weight but i think he needs to get something done with extra skin that is there. No offense to him its cool that he lost weight to try and look better for wrestling.

I did not watch the spike dudley match i am still against him for what happened in the past event at UMASS.

Freightrain is a really generous and funny guy. Dont hate cause you arent as funny as him.

If Mayor McCheese can do better in the ring i want you to prove it. Cause as it stands. MAYOR MCCHEESE is just another face in the crowd paying to watch everyone wrestle. Go train somewhere maybe you can give the promoter a little something to get booked.

Jamie, it's commendable of you to post on behalf of ACW. However, since Mr. McCheese has constantly praised ACW and how much better they are compared to TRP, I feel he is making your promotion look terrible. Even people who presumably work for ACW have publicly criticized McCheese for his/her behavior. That should tell you something right there. I highly doubt this guy is a just a regular Joe Schmo fan, because how would a regular fan know about paydays, how much promoters supposedly get for paid shows, and so forth (i.e. McCheese bad-mouthing the TRP promoter for supposedly not paying his workers, and saying that TRP makes all this money off the Whaling City Festival shows, etc)? Ordinary fans could care less about how much money promoters and/or workers are getting to work, so that's another reason why I think McCheese is not a fan and is someone on the "inside" of ACW and probably used to be on the "inside" of TRP/YPW/SCCW. Until proven otherwise, I will always feel that McCheese is part of ACW, which in unfortunate for your promotion. Hopefully, you will find out who he or she is...and embarrass that person on here publicly...so we can see who the idiot really is.
