It has been reported that Vince McMahon is not pleased with Michael Cole's performance on RAW and has led management to question the switch with Jim Ross. There are talks of shooting an angle that would move Ross back to RAW and Cole to Smackdown. However, Vince wants to stick with Cole to get him where he wants him to be.

Jim Ross is said to be happy with working Smackdown since he is spending more time with his family.

Do you think this is true? I think Cole ahs been just fine and has brought a fresh voice to RAW.

I don't care for Cole, and it doesnt "seem like Raw" to me. They have done a lot to retool the whole show, not just make a few moves.

Its Cole, and ID say hes adequate, just not good, so I guess undecided.

Unless we hear what's in the headphones while these guys are announcing, I think it's hard for us to judge how well they're doing. I guess if he's getting across all of the senior management's propaganda, to them, he'd be doing a good job.

My itinerary:
Sep. 19 - Ring of Honor in Boston

From what I've read at various times, Vince McMahon doesn't seem happy with ANY of his announcers. Then again anyone who would replace Joey Styles with Mike Adamle doesn't know jacksh*t about announcing. Sorry, but it's true.

Eh- I like JR alot better. JR is doing a better job on Smackdown than Michael Cole is doing on Raw. But I'm giving him a chance.

I never watched ECW of old on TV, but Joey Styles sucks. Adamle might be raw, but he will be better than that clown.

Cole is good. I agree with Holly, JR needs to get hit by a car.

No, no, no.....I didn't have enough coffee before I made that post or something. I meant to say JBL, not JR. And btw, nobody should get hit by a car. Don't like those angles particularly much.

The best angle to hit someone with a car is head on with the right side of the bumper, so that they get rolled underneath the passenger side tire. Head on straight they pass without getting crushed by the wheel. Left side is a little jarring to the driver.

I don't think Ross is out of place at all. Ross is no doubt adjusting to working with someone other than Lawler. Him and Lawler basically worked together exclusively for the last 10 years. Ross is said to be very happy being on Smackdown now as it allows him more time with his family and at his restaurants.

Cole isn't horrible but is still adjusting to doing the live Raw. I didn't like the move but it is what it is. I think sadly a big part of the problem is Vince contantly yelling at his announcers in the headset and instructing them on what to say, distracts them, and actually makes them worse than his intent of making them better.

joey styles lost his appeal when they took his playbyplay out of the match and made him focus more on storyline shit. and cole hasn't been too bad, but my friend thought it would've been a better idea to switch lawler and foley instead of jr and cole

Joey Styles was only good when his play-by-play was dubbed and edited into the ECW TV shows. When his stuff was done live on the ECW PPV's, he seemed lost at times.

No, he was right, this just proves that you seem to think anything old ECW was infallible, which once again makes you a mindless drone.

actually no it doesn't cause trust me the old ECW had a lot of problems but Joey Styles was not one of them

Who the fuck said Joey Styles was or wasn't a problem in ECW? I merely stated he's not as good as a play by play person as you and others seem to think.
