I know im guilty of creating some stupid shit on the board. But enough is enough who here thinks that the mods SHOULD MONITOR THE BOARD more often and keep an eye on what is said. |

No, I think they've done fine. When the real abusive shit starts, they nix it pretty strong. |

This is probably pretty tough because even though I think things have gotten out of hand, there is the right to free speech. People should just be careful of what they say on here. There's no call for a lot of these polls (though some are funny) and other stuff. Everybody should make an effort to think before they type. And that means everybody. |

The mods are fine. The phenomenon of nearly every thread breaking down into insults, sexual references, or mindless BS about personal matters has to do with the posts and posters, not the mods. GIGO.
An 'ignore' feature' has been discussed and would be nice to have when/if it is implemented. That way if one person pisses you off you can disregard their posts and just look at everyone else's. This would be superior to outright banning individuals, which the mods have largely shown no interest in doing anyway. |

The tone of the board can definitely be set by those in charge, especially if those in charge are *interested*. |

The tone is set more by those who post on the board. At time here it seems to run toward "DOI Board Lite", at other times there are a few decent conversations.
I don't find the mods to be too interested either - but then again I'm not paying for this thing. They're at least interested enough to foot the bill. |

Thanks! Here are a few thoughts.
I appreciate the hands off style of moderating, but only when the community polices itself. Not much of that here. In my opinion, it's pretty vicious. I like the idea of a known administrator and moderators with real names. I don't think it's fair that individuals can register more than one screen account. Whoever is in charge should be given credit because he's assembled a place that has drawn smart fans and industry types alike. The shirt design is really cool. |

I think people should pretty much expect to be treated the way they treat others on here. I know I'm far from perfect, and I'm trying not to post certain stuff. I don't randomly trash talk anybody on here. I enjoy coming on here, talking about wrestling (and unfortunately other things, which I am seriously trying to stop) and picking up a few jokes or news stories here and there. We should try and remember what brought us all to the dance so to speak before we hit that submit button when posting. It may sound hokey, and I've said it before, but anybody who's a wrestling fan is ok in my book. |
