Great event. If you've never been to an anime/manga con, you should go to this. Just to people watch its so worth it.

Thanks to Ceej for stopping by the booth, wish I had more of a chance to chat.

I walked past the booth several times before recognizing the name. I felt like such an idiot because I just couldn't remember why I posted a link on my website. lol

I actually didn't take many photos. I'll have to see if my son took any, but he spent most of his day in card tourneys. The costumes were incredible. It's amazing to see what the attendees (most I'm sure were under 18) can come up with. I really wanted to sit in on a couple of workshops (How to become a Ninja!!!) but people-gazing made me lose track of the time. I didn't even check out the gaming area. The convention center is HUGE! Thank goodness for escalators. I wish there were more vendors and more variety of product but there was plenty to see, dom, and buy. Every corner turned there was someone selling pocky.

The cutest thing I saw amongst the extravagant costumes was this father who had brought his son who was maybe 5 or 6. The boy wore a faded superman logo t-shirt and a simple red cape.

I do not like comics, superheros, card games or anime but, i think i should go to this next year. Im sure the people, esp, the women, are very, very strange. Though i dont want to be surrounded by a bunch of really fat chicks dressed up as cats.

Seems like NYC and Boston gets the "good" conventions....

a friend of mine works security there. they got a call for a lady and two dudes making out in a pile. my friend gets there and its three dudes. they are ordered to disperse since its a family event. they refuse,my friend insists they break it up, they were too embarassed by their boners,they didnt want to get up and move. weirdos.
