Matt Striker is pretty good on commentary, and Grisham has been doing fine, so I have NO problem with Striker/Grisham on ECW and Taz/Jim Ross on Smackdown.

Striker is GREAT. He is as knowledgeable as JR and is very good at informing the listeners of information. Grisham and Striker is a very SOLID announce team for WWE's B show

The show was pretty good. It seemed they might have messed the ending up a bit for the mainevent. The ref counted a 3 count but said it was a 2 count and they rang the bell anyway. The announcers didn't seem to know what to do. Same with Mark Henry, he seemed a little confused but he played it off well.

The ref clearly didn't know what to do. He kept trying to listen to his ear piece. Morrison looks confused as he did get the shoulder up and, people were kinda looking around like wtf. Then Mark Henry seemed sorta mad about it, then, happy. The ref then was blatantly telling Atlas stuff and also going to Mark Henry. Seems like they may of ran a bit long and the ref was told to wrap it up quickly as the show did go off exactly at 11:05. My guess is it was a TV time issue.

I fell asleep so I'll have to watch the tape. Hope my husband put 5 extra minutes on the timer! BTW, I like Striker alot on commentary. He's intelligent, well spoken and is everything he needs to be in that position to compliment Todd.

I hope they keep the commentators as is. At least with Striker they found something for him to do and he does very well with it. When he was just a wrestler, he was lost in the shuffle and wasn't going anywhere and hasn't gone anywhere really since he debuted.

With ECW, I would use it as a young lion organization/brand he would have done well.

He is very knowledgeable of the industry, knows the talent, worked with the talent in the company. And he also makes Grisham sound pretty decent on the mic as well.

I can deal with the current set of broadcast commentators:

RAW - King/Cole
ECW - Striker/Grisham
Smackdown! Tazz/JR

reports are also saying from an interview I believe with the UK Sun that Foley is interested in heading to TNA (like all retired WWE talent goes) so it looks like once Foley's contract is up, he's done! So keep Tazz with JR.

Just finished watching the tape of last night's ECW. Matt Striker and Todd Grisham make a surprisingly good team. Didn't miss a beat. They seem like they've been working together for months. Striker is well spoken, intelligent, refreshing and like I said before, everything he needs to be in this spot with Grisham. Wierd ending to the main event for sure.
