I had the opportunity to watch A Matter of Respect from the ECW Arena, 5/11/96. Shane Douglas beats 2 Cold Scorpio for the TV title. During the match, Shane Douglas powerbombs Scorpio onto the concrete floor. Just a brutal move.

Just wanted to share.

Ive got that match on a shoot interview tape from like 12 years ago. I think Shane was punishing him for tagging with Bagwell.

This match reminded me, or maybe I noticed for the first time, how great of a worker Shane is, especially his selling.

One of the classic heckles I have ever heard happened at a WCW house show in the Paramount Theater upstairs at MSG. It was 2 Cold & Bagwell vs, iirc, The Hollywood Blondes. 2 Cold is in there getting beat on, and some kid on the front rows yells: "Hurry up and tag in Marcus so you can lose!!"

This was a good show for one liners. Before Cactus Jack vs Rick Rude (Cactus had turned face maybe a week before this), Rude does his usual routine about shut up while I take my robe off and show all you fat ugly slobs what a real man looks like. Following this, Cactus gets the mic and says "And now, I'm gonna show you all…what a fat ugly slob looks like!" Laughing

saw Norton on AWA from 1990. he was teaming with John Nord. Buff was ok, i just thought his ego got bigger and his skill set smaller in the late 90's.
