13 - 0 so far and Toronto has the bases loaded. I am sure Joe Torre is thrilled. |

Is there a point to posting whenever the Yankees lose? Umm..thats a bit nasty, isn't it? Hey, Ive said it, the Yankees probably wont make it, due to injuries, severe ones, and also ineffectiveness. But, Id be worrying bout your team making it too, thats not locked up. |

Well, I think its childish, especially when the Sox may not make the playoffs either. But, as said, it doesnt seem to be a Yankees year.
My rooting interest, heaviest, if Yanks dont make postseason
Rays, and Cubs. Cool to see the Rays keep rolling, especially since they've never been in this spot, and the Cubs finally look built for the end of the 100 year drought. |

Man, relax, Ol Petey. Go watch your best of NY state pro wrestling films and simply reeeeelaxxxxxx..Its ok, you are still the King of the world, the ruler of the roost, and the self proclaimed expert on all that is and is not pro wrestling. Have a wonderful night, my thoughts and prayers go out to you for a good nights sleep and a good day on Friday. Take care sire.

My team didn't play last night.
Nothing nasty about it. Just relishing in the karma from ChrisFromCT's prediction that Red Sox fans were running scared from the trade deadline acquisitions of the Yankees.
If the Sox make the playoffs, great. No matter what worrying I do, they take care of it on the field.
My joy is actually for Joe Torre, who was treated like a douchebag by the Yankees, so I hope they miss the playoffs so he can be vindicated. |

I can't argue w the last part Steve. I mean, WTF. Joe was in the playoffs all 12 years, and won 4 world titles, albeit none in the last 7 years. I mean, Injuries yes, bad ones, and ineffectiveness. Girardi really isn't to blame IMO. All that said, Torre was still the right man for the job, and the Yankees didn't respect what he did for them, in the way he was let go. |

You act like the Red Sox dont treat players like shit. Look at Clemens/Nomar/Boggs/Mo Vaughn
It seems some one is still a little bitter about the image of Red Sox hero Wade Boggs riding a horse at Yankee Stadium celebrating a World Series win.
Anyway I didnt see a post when the Blue Jays were spanking around your "ace" Josh Beckett on Sunday.
Yankees still have 6 with Tampa and Boston plus 4 with the White Sox so season is not that far out of reach. |

Well, Chris, I think they have to sweep Baltimore and the Sox to have a reasonalbe shot, and make the six w the Rays, and other three w the Sox, plus everything else, relevant, and thats not too likely. Pavano !!!!!! tomorrow night in Baltimore, third outing since 2005. I kinda wish I was gonna be home just to see him pitch. It is as rare a sight as Haley's comet, or a victory these days out of Val Venis.
Sometimes, we all have to face things. I havent faced the Yankees failure completely yet, but may have to soon. |
