I tell ya Hugh, he is PATHETIC in the clutch. Twice tonight, the Yankees could have got right back in it, and both times, he fucked up w DP's, and another time, popped out w runners on.
Numbers don't mean shit, if you arent decent in the clutch. .222 or whatever w two outs and men in SP, is NOT acceptable from a "superstar" like him.
Last year, he was great in the clutch, but you have to produce more consistently than this. |
