Go back to your classes. Nice job of ruining good threads jerk.
Anyways, I like the shows too. Some good 2/3 fall matches, some new faces since April and the dinner. 25.00 for all that is a really good deal. I look forward to the events, and will have a full write up on both shows. |

he's running two shows in one day, and if i remember correctly, he drew less than 100 people last time.
and hes got some good "indy" names on the card that can't be super cheap.
question:
Will he make money?
probably not, but he'll put on a good show of wrestling at least for the fans. |

Well, when there's two shows, one of em prob will start a bit late. But, for your distance from the event, I can understand that. |

Indy promoters that make money? Thats a good laugh.
Yeh if your coming from any sort of a "distance" it may be tough. A doubleheader on a sunday is a bit sour but, oh well. |

well i doubt an indy promoter would run a show with the idea of losing money.. they all want to at least break even and make a little bit, right?
but that doest seem possible with these two shows on the same day, especially with those days being a sunday. |

Yes they all WANT to make money or HOPE to break even, but, that doesn't always happen. You cant run a show and expect to make X amount of money.
He doesn't have any TV stars or anyone who would cost a ton of money, so, it shouldnt be a concern. |

Not a ton of money? More than half those guys gotta be at least a little chunk of change. guys like antonio, walters, azrieal, they gotta charge a bit
Let's give him a high estimate of 100 people per show... thats 200 total
if they all bought the $25 pack (which the priciest option bc it comes with dinner).. then that means
25 x 100 = 2500
now, that is a very high estimate for a sunday show.
So, even if you have to pay every wrestler $30 per match.. do the math, he's now down to about $1200 give or take.. now, i think $30 is a low amount to pay most of those guys, so he's probably shelling out waaayyy more than that
so, he's got 1200 left for the hall, ring, and insurance... gunna be a tight one to even break even..
but at least ill get to see a good show!! |

Then tell 95% of the wrestling promoters this. Tell 75% of the wrestlers that, as im sure by the time they drive there and back with gas, tolls, food and such, they are going home with a pocket full of money, either. Obviously, no one has smartened you up on how LITTLE money is in indy wrestling. |
