No fans suck in my eyes. If you're a wrestling fan, you're cool in my eyes. |

Good thread enforcer, but again, this one could open up the can of worms. You probably will be disappointed in how many people actually "name fans". |

I guess it all depends what your idea of a good time is, and does it sync with the people around you.
The offensive people I complain about at shows normally don't come to the Hammer, read my posts, and reveal themselves and their Hammer accounts, so I can't name names, but...
...people who end up stinking (body odor) after the first match and it only gets worse from there
...people who want to educate everyone within hearing range to the fact that they're the most knowledgeable fan in the building and everyone else is wrong in whatever it is they're saying, not saying, or who it is they're rooting for |

Oh, come on guys. That's awful. There is no such thing as a bad fan. Well, I guess I've seen some rude ones at times. But, come on. |
Umm..you don't even get outta the state, and dont give us the family spiel again, please. Ive seen plenty, who are overobnoxious, nasty, rude, or just plain assholes, but Ive never taken names, as I don't know them. Ive even been called a bad indy fan by some too, and thats fine. Perhaps what you mean by a "bad fan" needs to be expanded on, enforcer?
There's more to life than wrestling, that's for sure. Please.....don't.... |

On the other hand, there are some great fans, like the guy who acts as a greeter/ambassador for ROH, Chikara, and other indie shows in the area. Last year, he was honored at the Chikara Wallingford show when the ring announcer said he was entered into the Young Lions cup. He got to get in the ring and give a short speech. Did I get that right? |

Well, I don't and I'll give the family spiel anytime I want to. Doesn't make me a bad fan. Don't you think I WANT to? Don't you think I'm the LEAST bit curious about the shows in MA? I wasn't even going to bring it up anyway, sir, YOU did. There are rude fans, sure. I guess in every sport. I don't know any in particular. I think if you go, enjoy the show and are respectful to the wrestlers and the fans, that makes you a good fan. |

Nobody said you were a bad fan. Nobody wants to hear about the family spiel either. Stop trying to create drama all the time. |

I have it on good authority that Holly the Meat Handler sucks, but refuses to swallow. A little disappointing. |

That's the idea.

Cowards. |
Apparently "cowardice" and "class" are one of the same in your eyes, kemosabe.
I ain't gonna name names, but here are rules to being a sucky indy fan:
1) Physically interceding with the wrestlers. To quote my boy Justin Credible, "IT'S A WORK, ASSHOLE!!!" Enjoy the show and leave 'en be!
2) Shouting out the names of WWE guys. Shithead, you wanna see that, go to a McShow! There should be one at Birchpo't or the Mohegans soon enough!
3) People who bring kids who cry very loud, run in fear at the slightest out of the ring action, or pick fights.
4) Guys who talk about the most recent ROH show they went to, compare what they see to that, and won't shut up about said show, and
5) Alleged fans who go on about wrestlers mothers, kids or wives. In a different era, that's a sure fire beat down. Baiting guys like that for a lawsuit or just to prove how tough you are is repulsive. |
