Did you ever get turned on when Bugs Bunny used to dress up as a girl bunny?

They already did Piper... so, wont happen.

Golddust? LOL...... Black Reign maybe?

Id guess it will be Honkey.... though im sure he wont bump or lose clean so im not sure that will fly with Vince.

The final journey or just the beginning?

I thought Honky had heat with Vince and Golddust was fired a bunch of times. Plus the Piper thing was a dark match right?
Im just saying I could see them using Haas for whoever wins the vote.

Well. Id hope it'd be Honky, but Im not sure he's on "good terms" w WWE either, over his "gimmick", but again, money talks. Id be surprised if its Piper. I think at Cyber Sunday, you will never forget the name..ooooooshh..GOLDUST Smile

The post about Haas being one of them wouldn't surprise me, as that match will basically be a "throw in" comedy, and Santino isn't losing the title anyways.

FlairFanatic, chrisfromct, and GrayGhost, your comments all seem to suggest that WWE does not let the fan vote dictate who will appear on the show.

well, josh, they let the fans vote, but what if who they vote for can't show? Or someone wins that Vince didn't intend? It's likely that WWE has a bit more say in who "wins" than the fans.

yes we can.

You just missed the color, sir, on your post, otherwise, I think there's a SMIDGEN Very Happy Very Happy of a chance that you speak the truth.

Yeah, we can all guess whether or not WWE goes strictly on fan votes or they just do what's "best for business."

I remember hearing one of the experts (maybe Meltzer) saying that WWE is very strict about going with the fan vote on this sort of thing.

For having a nice new site, and all, you still are a bit naive. I can't imagine the WWE "going with the fans" much on these things.

Slow down...it was an obscure line from Wayne's World and your post reminded me of it.

You are right. I never fantasized about winning a match. People who are in the wrestling business and become sexually aroused over a superior won/loss record are marks. Being overly concerned with "winning" and "losing" in a fake fight is indicative of some form of personality defect.

As pedestrian as it may sound, all my fantasies involve naked women. That's why I can't get into "Fantasy Football"...what kind of fantasy doesn't have naked women in it?

ok fair enough.........

now about the voting I think WWE know who they want to win and "pushes" for the fans to vote a certain way.

I agree.

I think they're setting up Honky Tonk Man for the vote. The whole Santino/Honky angle has been really funny. Laughing Santino is amazing in his comedy role.

They do the same thing at House Shows... getting all the gullible fans to text what match they wanna see batista and jericho in, etc etc.... Its a waste of a text message and you then hafta pay WWE 99 cents to do it.

Last year, this was online and free. this year, its the price of a text message and 99 cents. No thanks.

They would shock the world if it is Honky and he actually wins the Intercontinental Title again. Then he can lose it on Raw to Ultimate Haas in a matter of seconds.

Well in fairness, WWE in past years for Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday, have pretty much stayed to the vote. There were times when the voting didn't go they wanted it to but still went with the fan voting. Because of that usually they make sure they have anyone who can be chosen in the voting available and at the show.

Interesting to note, the show is in Phoenix which is the where Honky Tonk Man currently resides. It's quite possible that he could do it, and they won't have to pay airfare to fly him in. Piper has been in a hundred times so no doubt they have no problem getting him. Sure Golddust has been on bad terms but it's not like he would be the first one to come back after being on bad terms with Vince.

im hoping for honky..though i read this about him

Quote:
www.lordsofpain.net

Honky Tonk Man was telling people this past week that he wasn't sure he'd be able to wrestle at Cyber Sunday if voted in. Earlier in the year, he had a severe finger injury, which may eventually need surgery. A photo recently surfaced online of Honky Tonk Man showing his badly injured finger and it's still scarred and in bad shape. Outside an indy show, he and another guy swung guitars at each other at the same time and the other guy hit the neck of Honky's guitar as well as his finger. Honky Tonk Man got 18 stitches put in and claimed he nearly lost the finger.

I got 28 stitches and a fracture in a finger and it took less then a month for it to feel normal. Honky is a worker and a very tuff man. He will answer the bell if it rings

I think we all hope this is how WWE runs these contests, but no one can really be sure. It sounds like you've heard the same things I've heard.
