Promoters,

First of all thank you for choosing to use TheBurningHammer as a hype outlet and giving us an excuse to get this new section up and running. We've wanted to have a separate area just for "official" news for a long time now so please feel free to post any news at all that you wish to be made public. This can be in the form of card listings, venue changes, press releases, company news, or anything you feel is worth announcing.

How it works

Its simple. Create a new thread with your press release information. Reply with updates.

Updating/editing of show annoucements and cards as the dates grow closer is allowed (and encouraged) or if there are any new developments or additions to your show/company.

If the updates pertain to an already posted subject please use that thread to post your updates so all info on a specific event/subject will be presented in an organized, easy to update fashion. Please do not spam the forum with individual threads for each update.

Promoters who have requested access here are the only ones who can post or reply in this section and we ask that you please do so only in your own threads

We are trying to be very lax here and let you guys run the show (no pun intended lol)

this is just a reminder that you will not see the "views" counter go up at all on your threads in here. it does not track the number of times it is viewed through the NewsCenter (however if you view your own posts and hit reload in here the views count will increase)

so please do not feel frustrated, we can assure you that this front end to the site is getting very steady traffic
